So just bought a mk8 ST3 going from a mk7 1.0 Ecoboost, i feel the steering is really weird like when Im turning the steeringwheel all the way in low speed the steering feels like it’s sluggish and don’t return to center unless I increase the speed a little more, is that normal or what could the issue be? Had the car checked, and they found no problems :/
D. G. As you can see in the video, the stock springs aren’t really banana shape. Think that was a bit of marketing! They are however wound in opposite directions, which is a design mimicked by the lowering springs. You can see this in the video 👍🏼
The lowered springs are a little more stiff than the standard springs as you'd expect. However, I daily it and I'd say its far from uncomfortable. Very pleased with them.
Hi JB, how are you getting on with the springs? Style over substance or making a difference? I've got an ST arriving in a couple of weeks and yours looks ace lowered, but wondering about the driving benefits.
ross1506waddy Hi mate, handling is improved - you can definitely tell it’s slightly lower in the corners. Comfort is not really affected to be honest, well not that I’ve noticed anyway! In terms of bang for buck, it’s probably one of the best mods out there. 👌🏼

Made the error of ordering SYNC3 without nav assumed (wrongly) that ST2 would come with it as standard! *Face palm* Good to see you got on okay with Apple CarPlay in one of your other videos as I'll use maps via that. Other than that can't wait for it to arrive, previous Mk7 ST owner so interested to see the improvements.
How’s the ride comfort after 4 months of them being installed? Looking to get a set but enjoying the stock springs on motorways and in general...are they near enough the same? Pritesh
Pritesh Trikam Hi mate! They’re a little firmer than stock but certainly not uncomfortable. I spend a fair bit of time on the motorways and they’re all good :) When compared to H&R’s, they’re much less harsh.

The Eibach’s weren’t released when this video was made. This car doesn’t have adaptive dampers.

Are the lower rear springs also vector (banana shape)? modify the original behavior?

ross1506waddy I use Apple Maps and Google Maps more than the inbuilt nav anyway. They’re better 😁

I have the LED headlights so I've not had to upgrade them, but I know others have put LED's in the high beams too. Give that a try :)
