Doctoring in the Dennison was full of challenges and triumphs! This is part 1 of 2 following our experience doctoring in this pasture. We will post part 2 this Thursday! Hope you enjoy!
I'm seriously in love, watching what you guys do. Could you try to equalize the music with the dialogue audio? I couldn't find a sweet spot in terms of volume. Seriously though, I wish I could be out there with you. But I know I'd just slow you all down - I haven't ridden a horse for probably 3 years, and even then it was just a trail ride. I am NOT a cowboy at all lol.
Great video. Was that the trump rope I seen on quite a few occasions in the video? Thinking of ordering a rope or two but don’t use them daily and was leaning towards a poly 9.0 thinking it would be kind of a middle of the road choice. Any suggestions?
JP Thrift the rope your seeing in the video is a waxed cotton. I would recommend the black and white speckled uoza if your wanting a 9.0. It is a great all around ranch rope along with being tough! The black and white speckled has been our best seller from day one!
Evan Sturgill no problem at all! Length can depend on what you have on your saddle horn as far as wrap. If you ride and dally on a slick horn I would suggest a 50’ or 60’ if your going to dally in rubber a 40’ or 50’ is what I would suggest. 👍👍

Just learning to rope........suggestion on which rope to start out with?
Evan Sturgill I would suggest the black and white speckled Uoza. It has great weight and good balance between body and life! 👍
3:10 Ranch Life Thanks for the response! Ill check it out.
3:10 Ranch Life Sorry for all the questions but what about length? Purpose for each length?

Any estimates on how much weight was run off the beef?
Likely much less weight than would have been lost without getting them doctored.
