@@wallyedmonds8199yeah that makes no sense, I do a mix of grease and oil and do between 1-2 times a year but we don't ride in the wet or mud here in the Midwest.

@@paulestuartIf i leave it relatively dry like in this video would it damage the hub overtime? I’ve heard a lot of people saying that it’s bad to keep a hub dry (like how you could spray wd40 into the hub to make it louder at the cost of reliability)

How often should you add oil?
I have to rebuild the free hub about once a month. That's ok because that's how long the bearings last too.

@@nomah2284 wd40 is a water displacement product and not a great lubricant. Don't use it on your bike.
