Okay- shot in the dark theory that could mesh with Saxi or not: Morrigan was a fiend of some kind making Aerith some kind of pseudo cambion that was tasked with trying to corrupt lord tan to do something shifty towards the former emperor.

I am going to have to try Eleven Labs for my AI audio. I put the script into D-ID but the voices don't sound as human as I would like. It doesn't sound bad but it still sounds like an AI is speaking.
I still feel the dark devil like person who confronted them at the beach. Might be Tronalds son. Or at least some kind of vessel.
And that would make sense, in terms of the mother wanting the son, going away all that.
I did say it in that episode, although a few details dont add up. But nothing that cant be explained by magic and lore I have no idea about so far.
But how the Dark figure spoke, what he said. the story about Tronalds family, and past. And it would also explain how things came to end. With the son for filing his destiny.
Although, it might not be a 1/1 son to dark figure. The "soul" of the dark one might be ancient. And the son just a key to set him free or something like that.
But I do feel like there is a connection.
Sounds to me like the first wife might've been a devil, and the kid some form of devil spawn perhaps. Very interesting. Looking forward to hearing more. Hope we get some good torylibes for the others going as well, love Tronald but the whole party needs some love!
Ive got it! Visuriel felt sorry for hurting tronald. Tanavere's woman had suspicious intensions, but wanted a child. Tanevere's woman was asmodius's daughter who wanted a son with the most powerful mage! Tanevere (Tronald) is Visuriel's Father!!!
Tbh I think she's Ylara, although could she also be Asmodeus daughter Glasya? Maybe.

Still doing a great job. Started looking for the next episode only to find I finally caught up to the current...lol. Any gamer would learn more about roleplaying with these episodes than watching Critical Role. Other than the lengthy dialogue with the DM and some characters, it is still more to the classic style of gaming. The introduction to certain abilities of the classes is one of the big plusses. 👍👍

Lotta people rip on AI art, and I get it. Many of these artists set a dial, hit "cook" and bask in unearned feelings of accomplishment.
This however, I do categorize as "art". The portraits, the voices, the maps all together are not used as end products, but instead like very specific paints - and the writing is amazing as well.
All put together, the adventure exceeds the sum of its parts - and justifies those parts being made by machine, like a beautiful sculpture made of car scrap, or harmonious remix of classic songs.

Back in my day, we didn’t just slaughter the goblin men… But the women and children, too. Our dwarf was the worst of us. Due to ancient grudges and personal vendettas, he would commit what would become known as “war crimes” against them.
But also, goblins didn’t have 30-50 hit points back then, like they seem to now…

ive never played DND but i dislike when people need to roll just to see obvious things. like oh i enter the room, dm what do i see? OK ROLL A perception check? oh i rolled a 1, THEN YOU SEE NOTHING!!!? like is that how it works?
I guess in that case it would just be you see nothing of importance, its just an ordinary room. But if the roll was higher, you might see something that was hidden ( a secret switch, a hidden trapdoor, a shimmer of light in a 5ft space indicating someone is invisible or something like that) a natural 1 wouldn't make you blind, just oblivious to anything that is remotely hidden!
TH-cam is adding rules on deepfakes and using AI-cloned voices. Is the series secure?
