I reaaaaaaally want to believe in Eclipse, but every time I do, I know my opponent is gonna draw a ton during EP and I just cry.
I think Ostinato vs Belle is literally the same interaction of Book of Eclipse vs Ash Blossom, both are a second part of the first effect, so been able to negate them makes sense.
He is just frustrated cause he wants do play melodious and with belle rising up the deck is so worst.
Whatever what happens, ostinato is insane, just play a lot of defenses for her, like crossout, called by, orange.

Ostinato is all 1 effect. Having a period, or mentioning a different phase, doesn't mean that it's a different effect.
Bacha says that you cannot negate activated effects, not active effects. You are negating the passive effect to protect the activated effects, meaning that the entire card is negated.
IMO, both of those rulings make perfect sense.

@@GG_YGO the card database says that it's one effect. The "destroy, then summon from the graveyard during the end phase" portion is just a delayed resolution of the initial effect. It's split up by a period so they could word it properly, not because it is a separate effect.
@@GG_YGO I see what you're saying but i think commenter is correct. It says "During the End Phase of this turn, destroy the monster Fusion Summoned BY THIS effect, and if you do...". If im reading this right it's all 1 effect that begins when the card is activated, even though it may look like 2 effects. Also, it looks like moving it from the grave or shuffling it back into the deck or negating it after the card has already resolved looks like it wouldnt do anything either for the same reason.
@@GG_YGO The OP is correct about Ostinato being 1 effect. It's the exact same as Instant Fusion. For it to be a secondary effect, it would have to activate during the end phase. A different sentence was probably used in order to simplify the wording.
Bacha protects the "activated" effects from being negated. In case of Imperm/Veiler the entire Bacha card has its effects negated, including the protection so during the CL1 said protection is negated and its effect won't be protected.
Also Apollousa CAN negate the "activation" of an effect under Bacha, since that effect never happened. TLDR Bacha protects only from cards like "Ash Blossom" that say "negate that effect. For a ruling on this you can check Subterror Final Battle vs Divine Wrath.
@@TheMatt_SD i can verify it's exactly as you say. But I'll be honest, the Kaiju Slumber ruling is as "Konami said so" as Dangers under Droll, and if everything worked like that then Gozen/Rivalry/TCBOO should also consider the gamestate AFTER your intended action making them way less powerful.
Imperm vs bacha makes sense. It's negating the continuous effect of bacha. Belle vs osanato is by far the dumbest example of BKSS since warrior of Atlantis searching legendary ocean.
If they wanna fix it, just errata ALO so that it counts as Umi _on the field_ or as Umi _and_ ALO, they reprint that card constantly so it wouldn't be hard to implement. Kairyu-Shin/Mako Tsunami Structure Deck anyone?
As someone trying to play a Dark World deck at a regional this Saturday, please don’t remember about at adding a Droll. It’s already going to be an enough of a uphill battle as is 😅
Kaiju slumber has always been able to do that. The wording said to destroy all monsters, then summon.
That's not relevant, conjunctions do not dictate activation legality, it should not be legal based on more general cases, it only does because it has a database ruling that says it can, and if it did apply the ruling right after on vanities fiend wouldn't make sense.
the only thing that doesn't make sense is that rhe new Melodious support is so splashable. Bacha should somehow lock into Melodious and it would be perfectly fine for the pure deck

Imperm vs bacha is logical. It negates the entire field eff so it negates the activated eff protection as well

if you can't belle ostinato, why can you ash book of eclipse? Both are separated by a period.
noooo don't tell people to play droll haha I had it happen to me a few times yesterday and it def made games a lot harder. Super happy that so many people are loving the list though, it was a ton of fun to play

Damn, I got cheated like 2 times on dbook by doing veiler/imperm on bacha and still resolving 🤣. After that I never did it again thinking that it wont do anything. Thank you for the video
