Nice job explaining everything man but you have to seal that top, how cant that not leak.You said under high pressure spray like a carwash but hell its still got to leak somewhere down the road. Is there any kind of a rubber seal at all that goes in between the metal of the roof and sunroof? I mean water will find a way in every time if there is a way.
Can I do this with an impala sunroof without welding like how you did this one ?or do I have to weld some of the impala roof on to the truck ? I just don’t want to weld the roof

Hey man got an 03 ext cab with a sunroof oneday I opened it and it wouldn’t close back I had to manually do it I checked fuse it was blown replaced fuse it keeps blowing and tips ?
Those do leak besides from them drain hoses and they do come with a real thin rubber seal from factory. And once they break it’s a problem bcuz they don’t make replacement parts that’s the bad about those sunroofs
@@peloteroopt7918 not on hand bro I stopped doing those after I started doing new sunroofs plus to fix them is a pain bro. I mean I didn’t have any issues bcuz I know how to fix them and the people who do them don’t. That is went it becomes an issue
Could u do the same thing with an oem sunroof from a chevy silverado cause my truck didnt come with sunroof and i dont want a pop up one i want a powered sunroof

I haven't had any problems till this day but I guess u can just use double side it tape

Bad ground or bad power source maybe it could also be the motor
