Definitely worth it! It's surprising how small the percentage of visitors to Banff ever go on a hike, but I have a feeling that they are more "passing through" instead of stopping for several days to explore. Banff (and Jasper if you haven't already checked out that episode) are absolutely incredible! -Howard
I love my Monday mornings. As you know, I am a great Canada fan despite not having been there. Just pulls at my heart strings somehow. Another dazzling episode. Phew! Glad you had a great mechanic to help you in times of great need. Keep safe- happy travels. Hugs for the pooches. 💖 🇳🇱 🙋 🇳🇿
We have watched numerous videos in prep for our Aug trip to Banff and Jasper. Yours might be the most practical and helpful we've seen so far! Thank you!
As-always, beautiful, beautiful, BEAUTIFUL! You two always seem to catch the best places, the best scenes, and present them in a flowing, wonderful way…allowing us to experience part of what you are. You have the ability to give us/me the perfect vacation, without having to leave home….many thanks to you two, once again! Much love, Virginia 💕
Banff and Jasper were the best bonus on our trip to Alaska. Lake Louise was frozen when we came. Frozen lakes are a source of witchcraft to this southern TEXAN. Thank you for posting these wonderful videos.
I have been to the Tea House and Lake Agnis, 3 times. The first time the lake was covered with ice. I am 77 and love it up there. We drove to Alaska twice from Pa.
Anita, love to hear about all your travels! Did you ever make it to the other teahouse in Banff? We didn't have time to go this trip. Thanks for watching! -Howard
Just wanted to tell you what a fabulous video this is! Banff National Park is beautiful, and thank you for bringing it to us! Y'all do such a great job capturing these adventures! Andy & Kathy
Hello guys, what an incredible scenery! It’s on our bucket list for sure. So many beautiful spots. Love the pictures of you two, what a great memory. 💙 Anne & Eric
Right?! Places like this are SO popular to photograph and particularly the water color looks unreal. For it to match in reality is just a shock to the senses! 👍 -Howard
So much incredible beauty in Canada! Lake Louise is as beautiful now as when I saw it in 1979. I can’t wait to go back! Thank you so much for sharing!! ❤️❤️
Thanks, Miriam! We love sharing our adventures and Quebec sounds like a great place to explore, too. Hope you'll continue on the journey with us! 👍 -Howard
Well that was a packed video. Lots of cool stuff to see for sure. Yeah the sway bar bracket had been broken for a while. I noticed the rust and the fresh break. Glad it got fixed. I must say that was a heck of a hike for tea 😂. I know it’s worth it just by the views 👍🏼
Hahaha, the hike is more than worth it with those views. Looking back down towards Lake Louise is also great from up there. The baked goods also don't hurt. 😉 -Howard
Wowzers! Snow in August, no thanks. 🤣 The snails were quite a different animal to be looking for. 🐌 I love the logo with the beaver on it. 🦫 Cascades of Time Garden was an amazing spot for lunch and pics. 💖 It's a sign of our times that the average stay at Lake Louise (also my middle name 🤫) is 15 minutes. And just look at all of the beauty that those people miss. $120 for an hour on a canoe? Maybe if it comes with Sylvester Stalone singing his famous Rambo song. 🤣 Thanks for taking us along. 💕 -Aimee
Loved this episode! We want to get there so badly. It looked like the area of the NP you were camping was less crowded than the Lakes area? Rocky, Rambo....when your brain is oxygen starved its all the same, LOL!
Haha, thanks! Oxygen starving does funny things. I think it was less crowded just because of 1. Covid-19 travel restrictions 2. Time of year. We were there in early September. Even with that, the campground area with electric was totally sold out on one of the nights we were there! 😮 -Howard
Cool to see again... Been about 6 years. Have been there Several times for work conferences.... You missed out if you didn't get a chance to go to town to eat at Banff Grizzly House,,, Vert cool story about the phones at every table. Also the Castle is pretty Amazing as well...
Very beautiful! Adding the tea house to maps noticed it is temporarily closed - must be seasonal. Probably is already quite cold and possibly snowy there! 🥶
This is the first video I saw of you guys... great vid.. gonna go and look at more... btw... I am also a former theme park worker.. have a magical day lol
Not sure if you go to the top of Morain lake but there’s a trail on the side going up there and that’s the real breathtaking view😀. You should go back there if you happen to missed it! ⛰ But other than that it was a great tour!🥰
Welcome to Canada! 🇨🇦 Great video! Looking forward to more of your Canadian content...especially as you move east into Ontario (my stomping grounds). Enjoy and wishing you both safe travels! 🙂
So glad that you were able to tour Banff and Lake Louise, & Moraine Lake, it's beautiful. We have been there many times but I found the price of the canoe rental outrageous, price gouging for sure. Hope the rest of your Canada travels are ok.
We are touring Nova Scotia, PEI and New Brunswick for a couple weeks and just happened on your channel this evening! We are really enjoying your videos and experiences and got some great insight and recommendations for the next few days. I’m curious if you got to walk around the Banff Springs Hotel on your visit to Banff.
You guys need to add a circular polizer to your kit so you can get rid of those water reflections!!! been to the cave n basin myself!!! excellent video!
Thanks, Gerald! We're so glad Canada has reopened for exploration, though we still have so much to see. The price of the canoe rentals was worth a laugh, neither of us could recall ever seeing such a high price for one hour rental... Thanks as always for watching and we're so glad you're along for the journey! 👍 -Howard
13:15 - Just so people know. You can park and see Lake Louise without reserving a shuttle even during peak season but there is no guarantee of getting a spot like on the video. HOWEVER with few exceptions you MUST use the Parks Canada shuttle to get to Moraine Lake. The exceptions are: You have an official disabled parking permit, you are staying at the Moraine Lake Lodge or you are on a private shuttle (Only way to see Moraine Lake for sunrise but it's $$$). But rules are constantly changing as Parks Canada tries it's best to balance crowds and care for the park.
Thanks for the update! We always appreciate it when people comment about changes, new rules or alternatives to help fellow travelers plan their adventures. Thanks for watching and hope you'll continue on the journey with us! 👍 - Howard
Thanks, Larry! We did upgrade our suspension, but it doesn't impact the payload capacity. Here's the article and video about what we did and why! 👍 -Howard www.newstatenomads.com/rv-life/2019/best-suspension-upgrades-for-sprinter-rvs
Q: Was that canoe rental price in Canadian Tire dollars? Reason I ask is because I heard it’s accepted everywhere ;) Joke aside, that truly is a pretty place. Thank you for bringing us along!!
Great question, and it's a very popular upgrade to the suspension for pre-2019 Sprinter chassis (2019 and newer have a stronger sway bar). Here's the article and video on our suspension upgrades and why we did it. 👍 -Howard www.newstatenomads.com/rv-life/2019/best-suspension-upgrades-for-sprinter-rvs/
Hahaha, the joys of language. The water actually did taste pretty good, even if we couldn't hook up our external filter (we have a second filter inside for drinking water). 👍 -Howard

"I like how it looks like You, have the entire place to yourself!" Excellent job done!
Banff is absolutely gorgeous. Lake Louise is so beautiful
Makes me appreciate my back yard more , when you folks enjoy it
Hi! Another fantastic video! Thanks for taking us along. Have a great week!
Thanks, Dolly! So glad you enjoyed this episode. 👍 -Howard
That water is so beautiful and the scenery is perfect. A worthy kicking and screaming hike to make. The reward is worth it.

Yes indeed. Thank God you weren't on a road. Time to count all of our blessings.
We are certainly thankful it happened in the parking lot. Would have lost that part for sure out on the road! 👍 -Howard
Wow! Great episode! Looking forward to watching more! All of the lakes you went to look so vivid and idyllic!
We have watched numerous videos in prep for our Aug trip to Banff and Jasper. Yours might be the most practical and helpful we've seen so far! Thank you!
A great video of the Banff National park.
Thanks so much! Hope you'll continue on the journey with us. 👍 -Howard
As a Canadian living abroad thanks for a little bit of home. Come back again.
Thanks so much for the timestamps! My second time watching, so I really wanted to get the skinny on this area.
Of course! Glad our episode was so helpful! 👍 -Howard
Banff is definitely on our bucket list! Lake Louise looks amazing. That color looks other worldly. What a gorgeous video. Can’t wait for the next one!
Wow Canada is so beautiful!!!
Yes it is, Dave! We're so fortunate to be able to explore Canada again. 👍 -Howard

More incredible photography and to this day I still get afraid when I see Kaitlyn eat
This episode is just stunning.

Thanks to you both! You are based in Quebec, right? We hope to explore there maybe in 2022! So glad you're along for the journey. 👍 -Howard
@@NewstateNomads Yes, we are located in Quebec, if you come, it would be interesting to meet you, if you have the time. Cheers !
So glad it is / was more gorgeous in person than in photos and in your expectations! How awesome is that?! 😝
Right?! Places like this are SO popular to photograph and particularly the water color looks unreal. For it to match in reality is just a shock to the senses! 👍 -Howard
So beautiful. I really want to see this someday!
It's absolutely worth the visit in every possible way! Thanks for watching. 👍 -Howard
Thanks! Always enjoy your top notch videos 👍
Doug, thank YOU so much! We're so glad you're along for the journey. 👍 -Howard

Banff is sensory overload.
Around every new corner a new incredible vista.
great vid place looks amazing
What a great video! You two seem to hit on the most perfect weather for many of your adventures!
Well, the forecast actually looked pretty grim so we got very lucky! So glad you enjoyed the episode and are along for the journey, Steph! 👍 -Howard
Great video. Love you guys!❤️
Haha awesome! I’m from Hinton. Love Jasper Tire

There's always next time, Dean! Appreciate the suggestions, I'll definitely add them to the list. We will be back to Banff, I'm sure! 👍 -Howard

Definitely worth a visit! Do you have an ETA of when you hit the road? Thanks for watching. 👍 -Howard

Closes October 1, and yes snow in the mountains already.

Looks like a lovely place 😍
I hope we get to visit some day
It definitely lives up to the hype! Thanks for watching, hope you'll continue on the journey with us. 👍 -Howard
We certainly do have some awesome spots here in Canada. Sorry for the crowds and the price gauging for a canoe rental though. Peace and Calm. 👍🏻😎🇨🇦
Thanks, Gerald! We're so glad Canada has reopened for exploration, though we still have so much to see. Soon as covid is history, I'll go back up there.
I so wanna take the RV to Banff. Like, soon!
Trevor, make plans to do it! So much to see and do in Banff. Great camping options, too! 👍 -Howard
I pray you are as happy as you appear
We are! 😍❤
Great Video
Thanks so much! 👍 -Howard
You and my daughter have the same name, even the middle name, except we spell her name with 2 n's. They just go well together.
it looks unreal there I must take Sol some day

I am curious if you upgraded the chassis of the Navion to increase the amount of payload capacity. Really enjoy your vlogs!!!

Hahahaha I wish it was Canadian Tire dollars! That was a new record price for us. We're so glad you're along for the journey! 👍 -Howard
Did you travel all the way east across Canada and come in to the US on the East Coast? We live in Vermont.
Why did you have an after market sway bar? Curious....
Great question, and it's a very popular upgrade to the suspension for pre-2019 Sprinter chassis (2019 and newer have a stronger sway bar). Here's the article and video on our suspension upgrades and why we did it. 👍 -Howard

MashaAllah Beautiful🌷
I been to banff before
Great place, right? Any favorites from your trip? Thanks for watching! 👍 -Howard
You guys missed BC...the best province...
1 hr canoe rental over 100 dollars or is that Pesos
Terry, we WISH it was in pesos, haha. That's a new all-time high price for us, but there must be the demand for it there! -Howard
I liked the water sign in French.
Is this water potable? Well, it's potable, but it's kinda "ewe" potable
Hahaha, the joys of language. The water actually did taste pretty good, even if we couldn't hook up our external filter (we have a second filter inside for drinking water). 👍 -Howard
Howard, I like your hairy face.
