- All the female medal winners at the 2024 Russian Gymnastics Championships.
Angelina Melnikova was the most solid competitor, winning medals in every single individual competition she took part in (gold in all the finals, except for uneven bars, where she got bronze).
This video has been created for educational purposes, to show skills in artistic gymnastics, to teach people about all the elements of this sport, and to report on competition winners and results. From the name of the skills, the gymnast they're named after, the difficulty of each element, the code of points,... anything that helps understanding gymnastics.

No Olympics 2024 for these truly graceful gymnasts! Biles is a brilliant acrobat but doesn't have the grace, artistry, and ballet style of Melnikova
Melnikova is a power of nature. Her talent matches her beauty. What an outstanding athlete!
I was sad to see Listunova had a rough day, with 3 falls, but still managed to be in the podium. That is quite impressive.
And Roschina was a good surprise for me. She is surely growing to be a consistent all arounder for russia.
Melnikova - 8 years of elite and no signs of slowing down! She can very well add more world medals this quad, if russians are allowed to compete.
Would have loved to have seen these gymnasts at this years Olympics in Paris!!
Lyudmilla Roshchina was the best of all these.

Listunova was a bit of a mess this championships. I hope she is ok. Melnikova was very impressive overall, 4 golds and a bronze. Roshina was the discovery of the tournament though, sublime bars and overall huge potential/prospect.
Listunova has health problems

I feel so sorry for them, they got Banned in so many tournament becouse of war against ukraine, its not Fair for them,
It's not because of politics, they know for sure these gymnasts will get first or 2nd place, and that's why they banned them, just an excuse, many of the athletes can play without the Russian flag during this Olympics,
I don't care about politics, I care about Olympic games, but what's the point of playing a game and winning when you ban the best players?

they were not banned. They could participate but as neutral athletes but I guess they did not want to join.

Maybe because, despite all, they have dignity and pride? I somehow don't see any other countries agreeing to this either. Especially not USA. Being stripped of your anthem is painful, but to be unable to participate even as roc so dehumanising
I am certainly no expert, but it seems like there's a whole lot of balance checks, leg separation, and extra hops after landings. Is the difficultly is so high that this is acceptable, or is the caliber of Russian gymnastics not where it once was?
Frankly the latter. They likely don’t feel a lot of motivation tbh
They have been inconsistent in beam for a long time. Remember they won Tokyo even with 2 falls on beam. Melnikova’s routine was lovely, Gerisimova was solid. That was literally it 😂
I don’t see a lot of medals coming from the Olympics in Paris

Dejen de criticarlas tanto a estas chicas , si tienen razon su calidad bajo pero no es para menos el desanimo por su salida tan injusta a nivel internacional les afecto demasiado y aunque haya competencia interna jamas seran los mismos animos ya que tal vez no volveran a las olimpiadas y no por su calidad como deportistas si no por el odio que la gente les demostro a nivel mundial con una rusofobia de la nada y unas politicas internacionales que trataron de aislarlos es obvio y mas que logico que les afecte a todos ellos lo mismo paso en el patinaje artistico se le monto todo un teatro a la pobre kamila valieva para desprestigiarla no solo a ella sino a todo el equipo ruso y que pasa con ellos ..ellos ya no quieren seguir compitiendo por que les dañaron demasiado psicologicamente , si siguen patinando pero mas por diversion
Since when did the uneven bars become a whole body length between top and bottom? How does one perform a hex now??? But then I am of the generation of Korbut, Kim and Comaneci - the true prodigies of this sport :-)
This athlets are extraordinary and is not fair they are baned from the Olympics. Politics should not interfire with sport.
Por lo poco que he podido ver en videos de meses anteriores, las chicas de Rusia no se ven muy bien, se ven con muchos errores en sus rutinas (no soy experta pero es muy obvio), se ven muy inseguras. Espero mejoren porque las norteamericanas vienen fuerte, traen ejercicios si bien no de lo más artísticos, si altamente calificados, Simone Biles se ve muy segura y relajada... Yo prefiero la elegancia de la escuela rusa a los ejercicios atléticos de las americanas, por favor esfuerzense más, vamos Rusia (aunque ni me lean😂😂😂)...
en realidad si se ven bien, hace poco fueron los juegos BRICS y gimnastas jovenes como Anna Kalmykova o Leyla Vasilyeva realmente fueron muy buenas y tienen gran futuro. ademas de que como no pueden participar en competencias internacionales eso las desmotiva mucho.. pero de igual manera si pudieran participar en paris yo creo que les iria muy bien con un equipo de las gimnastas mas jovenes junto con Melnikova y Listunova

Vorona was participating . But she is back after an injury . Urazova got injured just before this competition . She is having a surgery and will need six months to recover

Just found out Russia athletes cannot compete as a team and under their flag for the Olympics. I get the world is punishing Russia but not at the expense of these athletes it’s disgusting
Especially considering the sports are supposed to be outside of politics. Both US and USSR competed at the Olympics during Vietnam and Afghanistan wars. Currently, Afghanistan under Taliban government is allowed to compete. Taliban! An openly terrorist regime which is doing terrible things to women and kids is allowed to compete. North Korea is competing. Many dictatorships are competing. I think gymnastics who were caught on doping should have been banned but the entire country and young athletes….
Well work this out,the Olympic committee has banned Russia for its incursion into Ukraine ( that it only did by the way because far right thugs where systematically killing ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine, the 4 oblasts where there is a Russian majority.14,500 were killed after the CIA backed coup d'état in 2014 so it was only after Ukraine wouldn't keep to the Minsk accords that Russia went in as a last resort in Feb 22' but by doing this Russia is banned from most sporting events on the global stage as they are predominantly run by Western organisations including the Olympics.
But how many Olympics have the U.S been banned from ? None and since WW2 the United States has been involved in 18 military conflicts world wide and are responsible for the deaths from those wars of over 12.5 million people.......Yet they compete at every Olympics and their athletes don't have to condem they're own country and wear all white and brandish no flags like some Russian athletes have been you'd they must do if they want to compete......Its absolutely disgusting.And it's outrageous that it can happen in this day and age.Me personally think that the sooner the better the U.S economy collapses the better off the whole world will be.Because since the 1990's they've been acting like Nazis around the world while smiling and killing millions and saying they're the leaders of the free democratic world,Well I'm calling it what i think of that and that's Bullshit.🫡🇷🇺💪viva la BRICS

A rússia caiu muito, esse é o campeonato nacional e se veem poucas meninas com grande potencial, as veteranas muito mal e mesmo assim vencendo é de se estranhar, pq sempre houve competitividade interna entre as ginastas, e hj não mais, acrobacias com execuções a desejar, uma pena, misturar política e esporte, acabou com o esporte no país olha esse ginásio vazio, parece que é uma sessão de treino e ñ uma final 😮
A Rússia ainda é muito forte na Ginastica, não é atoa que ganharam ouro por equipes em Tokyo, e se formos comparar, tem melhores ginastas que o Brasil, nós aqui só temos a Rebeca, e a Flávia olha lá ... inclusive só ganhamos o segundo lugar no mundial pq as russas não competiram.

It's all unfair and sad that the Russians are not participating in Paris 2024. Americans have indeed succeded in this attempt of preventing the Russians from competing, and convenient for them too. Russia owns gymnastics in all aspects because of their history and record at keeping their best standars of the discipline thanks to the State support. Ukraine should have been banned too if fairness was sought in the first place. Russia's reaction towards Ukraine's provocation was just.
Seeing how poorly Chinese athletes have been treated in Paris Olympics, usa will likely find a way to ban chinese athletes from Olympics too.
