@@TheDetritusChannel-bu2uw you got that right one of my favs was Marvid D ,,he just wanted to bomd lots of people and the sketch on how to solve your parking problems,,with a Sherman Tank..😂😂😂
When he died they gave him just two minutes right at the very end of the news and referred to him as Maurice Cole. I was in bits. I'd grown up with this amazing man and didn't even know he was ill. The BBC were horrible and he had spent most of his life working for them.......Vile!
Yea the BBC treated Kenny very poorly, even in his radio days! I would guess that is probably why he moved to commercial radio as soon as it was made legal in this country. Glad you liked the video. A sub would be appreciated if you feel I deserve it 😀
Yeah, and BBC owe it to general public to squash the TV licence. Now people have Freeview Freesat. Freeview means what it says on the packet. Free viewing means no TV licence is required. Free means free
@@davidneal9368 just a marketing term - to be honest - I agree the license is getting outdated and equivalent now to a sub to netflix per month, so considering they spin the talent and making of programs to their very well off commercial arm, they should just move to the sub model and give people the choice.
I remember dear Cuddly Ken in the early days of Capital Radio (a brilliant station then). He hosted the breakfast show with Dave Cash. In 1977 he moved to the lunchtime Saturday show and introduced Captain Kremmen - his sort of alter ego - in a radio sci-fi spoof (the animation appeared in his TV show the following year). I nearly fell off my chair when one line from the character,Carla, says, 'oh Captain, can I use your dictaphone?' and Kremmen replies 'no, use your finger like everyone else😂' . How Kenny got away with it, I'll never know. He also introduced at an awards show, the chairman of Capital, Richard Attenborough, as Dickie Poo! Everett was brilliant and a unique DJ and comic. Still missed greatly.
It is. But at least we have things like this to look back on. Although it’s a shame we do not have recordings from his radio days as he was a genius on the radio too.
What a legend he was,,,glad i grew up with him on the box..👍
So am I. You don’t seem to see talent like that any more.

Ahhh Reg Prescott (nee Truscott).
Yea, I wonder why he changed the name?
He was very funny, probably wouldn’t be allowed these days
The man was a genius, gone too soon 😢
Anyone who got away with cupid stunt in the 80s is a genius

Such a shame that the world lost him so early.

@@TheDetritusChannel-bu2uw They should have Knighted Kenny. And made him Sir Kenneth (Kenny) Everett of The Merseyside & Greater Wirral.
@@TheDetritusChannel-bu2uw Kenny loved GSO, very filthy and kinky sex.
