How to fix "Speed.exe has stopped working" in ''Need For Speed Most Wanted'' on Gameranger!

1.open nfs mw game directory.
2.then right click on speed.exe.
3.then go to properties and then go to compatibility.
4.then check ''run this program in compatibility mode for (windows xp service pack 2).
5.check run in 640*480.
6.check run this programm as an administrator.
7.now open ''change settings for all users'' and repeat steps 4 to 6.
8.and then apply.

For anyone having this same problem, it doesn't matter which kind of compatibility mod you choose, your game won't start or maybe it will start but will crash after few seconds. That's because you guys may have installed a CD version of this game. Download a pre installed version or a non cd version and then install. I had the same problem. Then I downloaded a non cd version from a site and it's working perfectly now.

If nothing is working, try this out :
Go to you intel properties> choose Display> custom settings> add 640 *480 ( width and lenth respectively) and 60 (in refresh rate) > save and enjoy.
If still it doesnt helps try out in different compatibality options
