Yeah, I did one board with all BCPs and while it sounded really good there were too many inconsistencies. Some of the BCPs were really sticky despite doing a uniform lubing method across all switches. I will never frankenswitch again.
I stopped my experimentation with BCPs for this same reason. I was using the v1 NK cream stem but still felt a tactile bump in some switches. Just wasn’t worth the time and effort

Also been getting into frankenswitching some myself recently, and have found it’s been especially interesting to move tactile stems around into different bottom housings. I bought some durock sunflowers on a sale (still was an expensive switch), and found the tactility was too much for me personally. I recently swapped them into some cherry mx red bottom housings I harvested from an old board I bought before I got into customs, and it feels much more comfortable. It’s the rabbit hole within the rabbit hole, and probably not advisable to newcomers, but it’s good fun. Also hugely thankful for the increased prevalence of vendors selling individual switch components (at least in the US) like KNC keys stems, Geon’s stems, and the WS MM switches!
