This is the first time I have watched your videos without CC and I feel like I’m getting better at understand and reading signs. When I first started watching you about a year and a half ago I was reading the caption and couldn’t understand really anything. OMG I JUST FOUND YOURE CHANNEL AND I ALREADY LIVE YOU GUYS!!! My uncle is deaf and so I’m learning BSL (I live in England) and he has a hearing dog, meaning no squeaky toys as they distract him.

Awwww I’m so happy for you. I haven’t watched the video yet so I’m not sure if you know what kind of dog your getting. But a good breed is yorkies. I have a little 8 year old yorkie and she is the cutest thing and the best animal ever. A day is the perfect pet for anyone. I’m so happy for you guys.

Hii!!! I would try and get your puppy comfortable with a harness once she’s a tiny bit older...especially if she’s “squirmy” puppy’s/dogs can squirm out of their collar if they are excitable by people and other dogs. 👀👀 qq

i have a question: i learned in class that asl have a certain grammar like: STORE-I-WENT but you both sign it according to english grammar. so my question is: is it necessary to sign using asl grammar? is it okay to use english grammar instead?
hoseok madness hi! That’s a great question. ASL has a flexible grammar, so you could say STORE-I-Go or I - GO - STORE, either is acceptable. If you want to say it in past tense, it’s PAST-STORE-I-GO or PAST-I-GO-STORE. In ASL time is always first. You see Ryan and I sign in English grammar because we sign a version of pidgin signed English or PSE. It’s commonly used between hearing and deaf people.

Congrats on your new puppy! I just got my puppy in June of this year ,she is a boxer :)
One important thing tho make sure that your previous owners didn’t have a dog that was sick with parvo . Parvo lives in grass and dirt for 2 years and 6 months inside your house . Also don’t take her out at all unless your vet says it’s ok . She or he can get parvo . I waited u til she got all 4 vaccines of parvo . It sucks but it’s better to be safe then sorry . Since some dogs do die of parvo .

Dogs have good hearing, and you can train them with hand signals or sounds you don't necessarily need vocal voice commands.
