- In his first news conference since becoming prime minister, Starmer also committed to spending 2.5% of GDP on defence ahead of Washington's NATO summit next week to celebrate the alliance's 75th anniversary.
The Labour Party surged to a landslide victory in Britain's parliamentary election, ending 14 years of often tumultuous Conservative government and propelling Keir Starmer to power as prime minister.
The election victory represents an incredible turnaround for Starmer and Labour, which critics and supporters said was facing an existential crisis just three years ago when it appeared to have lost its way after its 2019 drubbing.
So what's the deterrent to stop the boats ?????☹️☹️☹️🥴☹️

Hard to even believe a word what this bloke says. Rishi was more convincing than this bloke.
Rishi actually achieved alot in his short term. 2.5 on defense was Rishi, Starmers just taking credit for it
There is no change so far since he didnt say 1 word about Gaza .Its more of the same in my view.
Well I think we need to sort our own country before any other country or state. If he did people would probably think he's a corbynite
Who gives a F about Gaza, stop crying for babysitting. UK government is for the people of the UK.
