Been doing tons of reading, local engagement, etc, over the past year. Before then, I was interested in economics and history, and felt a lot of disengagement with liberal politics (like I think many others do), but couldn't find any other relatively pro-human stances outside of anarchism.
This combined with the absurd economics education I was getting - look into "utils" as an economic unit, and experience my pain - and how everything focused on equations or practices meant to maximize profits for companies or individuals (the occupation most who take early economic classes go into), drove me to attempt to figure out what specifically was going on.
Finding out information about the rest of the world while only speaking English is incredibly difficult, though, and many of the people I respected as progressive at the time (John Oliver, Jon Stewart, etc) only pointed me towards "solutions" that have never worked in the past, and books that would often end by saying "guess we're screwed" (like The Fifth Risk), because that is the natural conclusion of the logic of liberalism.
All I needed was to be pointed in a direction that made sense. That had a coherent theory/understanding of society and historical precedent to back it up.
So now I spend my time finding resources so I can pique the curiosity of others like me and direct them towards the answers that make sense/explain our circumstances.
Edit: I'm saying all of this as a way of thanking you and others like you for the help. As someone who is fairly new to this, I've needed others to keep me on track.

Loved the background beats. Sounds like Munetaka Inoue and The Sharp Five.

That "fuck ultras" bit from The Proles was embarrassing.
The "left" in the Americas is an absolute joke.

So you vouch for Palestine and calling it a genocidal war, but at the same time shy away from imperialistic efforts of Russia to occupy and colonise Ukraine? Is that some kind of selective marxsim-leninism? Neo communistic approach called “one eye closed policy” or what is this pathetic piece of rhetorics ?

Russia V Ukraine is an imperialist war, so Marxist-Leninists should not take a side.

@@TvoyuMamkuMav the eye that looks at your own self is closed, friend. The only thing similar between the two conflicts is US Imperialism. There is no genocide happening in Ukraine. There has never been, since the times of Stepan Bandera.
      Do you support NATO?

Wtf do you mean "vouch"? The correct stances in regards to Marxism Leninsm are to 1) support Palestinian Liberation, acknowledge that zionism is a genocidal settler colonial system that needs to be stopped. And 2) Russia is unjustified in its invasion of Ukraine, despite the fact that NATO is also unjustified and a disgusting american military extensions. Ukraine deserves the right to not be taken over by an illegal occupier, same as the Palestinians.
You're arguing with ghosts, or pseudo-leftists who either don't understand Marxism Leninsm or are unprincipled.
