In my honest opinion, yes, the questions were easy to answer unless you lack comprehension. Sometimes in two-way questions, people tend to only answer the first question and not focusing on the follow up one. 4 of the candidates did make good statements and with powerful convincing delivery yet failed to really give clarity and impact or meaning in order for them to snatch the crown. Some fell short, some stumbled. Meanwhile, Chelsea did something that is at ease and with clarity and with a story. That made her got the crown that night plus she unveiled inspiring and heart-warming stories even after winning. That’s why it’s always good to have clear listening skills to fully answer a sensitive/controversial/unsettling question or even easy questions. Most of the times we may think that it is seem easy to answer but when you’re on the spot, chances are, you tend to think more of to give a powerful answer than to give a meaningful one.
With headphones on and Asking a same exact question to top 5 is the best ultimate way to determine winner better. Because by asking different questions, we get different answers according to the questions
Stacey makes every small Filipina proud for placing 1st runner up. Saka in reality standard of height ng most Filipinas are short. But she did amazing talaga. She was one of the most prepared candidate during the competition.🎉🎉🎉😊
Napa goosebump ako sa sagot ni.Chelsea that night. She's so calm and collected. Saka spontaneous ang answer na parang di nya inisip that it truly came from her heart. I like what u said about Chelsea🎉 At nasayangan ako kay Christy may pagkakataon na sana masungkit ang crown. Siguro binigyan sya ng mababang score ng mga male judges.😢❤
Totally agree with Nicole. Question for Christi was quite difficult. For one, Christi is Filipino-American. I feel she's been blessed to have a comfortable life since she moved to PH and that she's not our typical Filipina woman who has experienced drama or discrimination contrary to what we see on teleseryes. She seems to be a really strong woman who wont let men or anyone break her spirit. Now speaking for Filipino women in general would have also been tricky, bcos if she mentioned a social or political issue, that would possibly backfire on her. Hence she gave a general answer, but again Nicole was right that she ended her answer strong. And the way she delivered it from start to finish was powerful and didnt deserve a 4th runner up placement.
You know what Nicole, the moment Stacey said that "that woman should be the representation of that very nation", i feel like what she really mean is sa realidad, karamihan sa mga kababaihan sa Pilipinas ay halos katulad lang ng tangkad nya. Hindi pangkaraniwan sa Pilipinong babae ang pagiging matangkad. And Stacey is a very perfect example of that representation. Lets embrace the uniqueness and physical identity of the Filipina..
Ahtisa could have added that she is a reflection of her grandmother and the values she has learned from her and use it as a beauty queen to spread kindness and promote women empowerment.
Yes... Ms Baguio stumbled several times...Ms Taguig didn't give a specific answer...Quezon Province is just safe.. CA-IN-TA 's answer is just FLAWLESS, she deliberately cut it short because people say that she tends to give so much palaboks and flowery words....Bulacan's way of answering the question is just so calm...it's her night though...BUT CA-IN-TA...CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU WEARING THE MUP CROWN...PLSSSS JOIN AGAIN ....CONGRATS CHELSEA!
It's a matter of how you deliver the answer and convey it to the whole world ❤🎉 how precise or accurate will not make a difference especially if you have MUO owner that dictates the results according to what she want to happen 😢😮
i had the same thoughts, she could have answered something that is really branded filipino challenges, the question is not just for women but also for men. sometimes its better to give an answer that is truly relatable .
After watching this review from Nicole Cordovez, I realized that Chelsea is very deserving. I am rooting for Christi Mcgarry that night because I thought she gave the best and strongest answer among the 5. But still, Christi should have been 2nd runner up if not first runner up, she answered way better than Ahtisa and Tarah.
I honestly agree it's hard to answer simple questions especially if you the candidate is too excited to say their answers. Comprehension really makes a difference that is why other candidates asks for the question again. Without comprehending the question the candidate would really lose their chance and might just blurt out rehearsed answers.
I get that he questions are on the easier route; this is true, can't argue with that but most of the girls are not able to provide answers with so much substance. Why? Its because the girls were trained to prepare and answer hard hitting questions but missed the training on answering easy questions. If the are trained to answer easy questions, they just probably are expecting to be asked with hard hitting questions. All girls must be ready to be asked whether is hard or easy questions. Expect both and focus on both.
Q&A is really an important aspect in pageantry however, first impression is srill the nost important (aside from the politics in pageantry)....the best answer and best delivery is Stacy's....

Hi Nicole! Thank you for this insightful review of the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Q&A. Your detailed analysis and tips are incredibly helpful for me as a candidate for Miss Universe Ireland. Your guidance is inspiring and is helping me greatly in my own journey. Salamat ❤
I really wish pageants will at least extend the time to 60 seconds. There are questions na need i-elaborate ang answer. I felt like the candidates were rushing to give an answer just because 30 seconds lang ang limit.
Why the Q & A did not follow the actual format of MU? Should ask the same question to all 5 ladies - the better way to differentiate the actual winner. Just like last year MUPh 2023.
Ako para akong napatalon sa answer ni Stacey kasi maliit din ako. Pero I was thinking that night na parang hindi ibibigay sa kanya ang crown dahil nga sa height nya. At the end of the day the Org. wants a complete package . When are they going to crown below 5'6 woman is just a matter of time.
Hi Miss Nicole Cordoves, I saw you in my dreams joing MUPh next year wearing a green gown and winning the crown. Subsequently, you will win the 5th MU Crown for Philippines next year. Host country will be in Asia. Love you :)
Wow, come to think of it, I feel she’d really rock a green gown especially with her red hair now, and she’d look like an ethereal mermaid queen with that MUPH pearl crown

Mas nagmarka sa kin yung flammable joke ni stacey kesa sa whole q and a portion. Ngayon ko lang naintindihan yung answer ni chelsea. And may charm siya. Mapapalingon ka talaga. Ngayon pa lang, top 5 or even top 3 placement siya.

Christy could have said many young Filipino women were left behind by their men to raise the children on their own and having to work 3 jobs to provide for the family and receive NO SUPPORT from the government. NGOs have done a great job in this respect but the government failed us. And as Miss Universe, I will amplify the works for these NGOs so that women in our society are empowered and can raise their children comfortably.
Your answer was great except with the government. Beauty queens must avoid politics. Because beauty queens should not polarize things. This is why Pia and Cat didn't talk so much about politics even though they support Leni candidacy. They avoid any political conversation. Yes, they can talk about economic and health benefits issues but they cannot drag the government down.
@@Dric_MagiCyeah agree. But I would prefer a queen who pointed out factual statements to inspire the government to do more than just to appease the people. Zozi stated in her statement that the government could have done more to tackle environmental issues.
@@unicorn8802 That's not a Beauty Queen. Yan ay isang Aktibista.. as I've said beauty queen should not polarize or one sided She should be an inspiration and aspiration and she cannot do that if she chooses only one side. If she wanted to be political right, she must not be a beauty queen she must run for a government office and do what she thinks is right. Like Leren Beautista of Laguna. And for Zozi, i didn't see an interview in regards to what you're saying. But based on the context she is not pulling the government down she is suggesting... Because environmental issues are not caused by the government.
What I like about Chelsea is her Q&A doesn't sound scripted, it's all natural. She's just conversing with us. She deserved the win! Goodluck Chelsea!!!!
@@medzajajunshe meant a rehearsed answer. Of course they practiced q&a and the actual questions were kinda same from they rehearsed personally, so some answers sounded like scripted.
Miss Chelsea has the BEST answer among the rest, she has uphold the STRONG POWER of encouragement to INSPIRE women, genuinely authentic and 1000000% so convincing❤ Watching from Australia 🇦🇺
The current challenges women face in the PH is the issue of divorce- staying married till forever even if it is not working bec society frowns upon divorcee people esp women
CHRISTI---response addresses the challenges that all women face today, but it should specifically center on her own experiences since the QUESTION pertains to her personal challenges. It's important for her to reflect on her individual struggles and not generalize to encompass all women's issues in her answer❤
Luv this Nicole. All of them did well given the pressure. To piggy back on what you said, I was really expecting Christy to place higher. But I guess it was not her night. However, reviewing the performance of Chelsea, she really shone that night. I started noticing her the last week of the pageant. Definitely, the game changer! Stacey on the other hand is just phenomenal. She already won that night. Everybody remembers her nuggets and memorable phrases. She should be a motivational speaker! Ahtisa is a pageant girl through and through! Too perfect! Hope she surprises us in her next international pageant. Tarah would go a long way, with proper guidance. Thank you Nicole for dissecting the Q and A! Excellent work as usual!!! You go girl!
Congrats Chelsea..you deserved that crown..your so gorgeous and smart...and intelligent as well..👏👏👏👏🙂❤❤♥️you can bring the 5th crown in Mexico..God bless
For me, Chelsea has the strongest answer when asked “how will you use these qualities to empower others” with “I am already influencing alot of whom who is facing me right now as transformational woman” that’s it! What MU is looking for a candidate. Goodluck, we’re all rooting for you.
Hi, I just want to share this :) "God is with you, and He will never leave you because He loves you." I am fortunate to have entered pageants. I always prayed before my competition because I know how powerful prayer is and this experience proves that God is constantly keeping an eye on you. I didn't think I was good enough to participate in the last pageant I entered. Making it to the Top 4 looked impossible to me, but God led the way that night, so I didn't stumble and I made it to the top 4. And now that I'm happy with what I have, I am also a title holder in my 2nd pageant in my school and I feel blessed and appreciative. My current role is to share my experiences of God's existence. Before it's too late, embrace Jesus. I am living proof that having faith is important; all you need to do is keep praying and keeping your faith in God, who can accomplish anything. Therefore, I encourage everyone who intends to join competition, surrender your plan to God first and begin to rely on His promises. God is real, and He loves us. #Jesus_is_King Proverbs 16:3 Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established Worship God, Who's in Heaven
Maybe we were just expecting too much from Ahtisa during her Q & A portion. Her answer was very practical and easy, but I think the judges are looking for something strong and unapologetic answer.... On the other hand, When it comes to Stacey's answer - Her answer is also good but I was also expecting something comprehensive and authoritative in delivering her answer. Yes I couldn't agree more-- she could've added something more spice to her answer. Stacey is a beautiful human being! Anyway I'm proud of these 2 women.. They are both my winners-- I thought they were the last 2 women standing..
Grandmother and grandfather or mom type answer should be avoided during final question round because there are many strong and prominent figures in the world that we could draw inspiration from. The judges want to hear an unique and more powerful answer from queens. Her answer was just typical and ordinary
The voice that only the pageant community listens to is the opinion of the one and only Ms Nicole Cordoves❤. How we wish she can be a coach in qna for future queens
I feel like Ahtisa should've been placed 5th place. She's the only one who incompletely answered the question. Tarah had a better answer than her though she had problems with her delivery.

this statement 📢 probably, would be powerful if said after the 5:54 mark
Yan ay isang Aktibista.. as I've said beauty queen should not polarize or one sided
She should be an inspiration and aspiration and she cannot do that if she chooses only one side.
Tbh, any negative response about the government will jeopardize herself.
What I like about Chelsea is her Q&A doesn't sound scripted, it's all natural. She's just conversing with us. She deserved the win! Goodluck Chelsea!!!!
Scripted ba ang iba?🤣🤣🤣🤣 Hindi nmn ata nila alam kung ano ang tanong. 🤣🤣🤣
@@medzajajunshe meant a rehearsed answer. Of course they practiced q&a and the actual questions were kinda same from they rehearsed personally, so some answers sounded like scripted.
I've been waiting for thisss!!!!! 💕
Miss Chelsea has the BEST answer among the rest, she has uphold the STRONG POWER of encouragement to INSPIRE women, genuinely authentic and 1000000% so convincing❤
Watching from Australia 🇦🇺
I have the same reason for Athisa's answer, kinulang talaga
The current challenges women face in the PH is the issue of divorce- staying married till forever even if it is not working bec society frowns upon divorcee people esp women
CHRISTI---response addresses the challenges that all women face today, but it should specifically center on her own experiences since the QUESTION pertains to her personal challenges. It's important for her to reflect on her individual struggles and not generalize to encompass all women's issues in her answer❤
Hi Ms. Nicole. Ang ganda po ng halaman. hopefully you can also put one on the other side. Sorry nahihigit yung mata ko sa open space
When Alexie and Victoria did not make it to Top 5, I knew right away that the Q&A wil be so-so…
Tiffany too(miss cebu)
It is really satisfying na makinig sayo Ms. Nicole. Lalo na pag mga ho host ka. I hope ikaw parin kukunin na host sa Bai Naliyagan 2024. 🥰
For me, Chelsea has the strongest answer when asked “how will you use these qualities to empower others” with “I am already influencing alot of whom who is facing me right now as transformational woman” that’s it! What MU is looking for a candidate. Goodluck, we’re all rooting for you.
veey good review
I love the content of your videos. It was my first time na makita ang feed ng profile mo.
Hi, I just want to share this :)
"God is with you, and He will never leave you because He loves you."
I am fortunate to have entered pageants. #Jesus_is_King
Proverbs 16:3
Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established
Worship God, Who's in Heaven
The questions are easy? Hmmm baka for you?
Nicole galing mag analized at himay himay ng sagot
The authority of q and a.
I feel like Ahtisa should've been placed 5th place. She's the only one who incompletely answered the question. Tarah had a better answer than her though she had problems with her delivery.
Love you Nicole. My forever queen!🫶🏽❤️
Sa tingin ko Hindi na KAILANGAN e review mga answers nila to say dapat ganito dapat ganyan...it's more organic as it is ..and they were judged by on the spot syempre titingnan Ang mas polished ❤️MAGAGALING talaga Sila 🥰
Tama naman..pero mas okay pa rin na marinig ng contestants yung reviews bout anwers nila..para maging mas better sila..like si nicole nagbibigay ng mga advices and tips..
please train Chelsea like you did with Cath.
Iba tlga si Chelsea May Peace sa heart Nya❤️❤️😇😇
Totoo Yan!!!
Iyan ang naman talaga ang Dapat, iyan ang sekreto na hindi naman talaga sekreto,
nagma-manifest talaga sa aura ng Tao kapag kalmante ang kalooban….at dapat i-claimed mo
na kaagad without a doubt.
Truenesss .kasi walang pressure since hindi siya napapansin nong una..dark horse indeed!
When are you joining Nicole? We want you backkkkkk
I was really expecting they would give the Final QNA about Divorce! It would have been amazing!
The problem lang is that not everyone who slayed the q and a wins kaya nakaka sad din
On point, very rational and specific. I love it. ❤️
Oh mga pinoise na di matahimik
Sa mga social media comments, alam niyo na ha. Wag kayong mas magaling kay Nicole
I Love Your Skinned Toned Natural Na pagbibilad po ba sa araw or tanning saloon?
Agree with your comments 100%
Nicole join miss universe next year
Even nicole could agree that Christy should have been in the last 2 standing. Christy deserved higher placement!!
I agree
Mare manood ka.same ng example mo not revant.
