My hat is off to you , a wonderful recipe. Growing up we use to get pumpernickel and resin pumpernickel. Both breads were baked and then they receive a cap and the cap is what made it. The rain is an unbelievable breakfast toast. Caraway, is an absolute as well.

i use olive oil in many of my breads as well as avocado oil i make an olive oil yogurt bread which is delish! for a really unique spin, try using spanish olive oil instead of greek or a more mild oil.. it adds a difft but great taste, kind of a hint of spicy??

Yes, you can, I would just reduce the amount of water by the amount of oil.
