"Tequila makes her clothes fall off..." Hahahahaha. Yeah, this is really cool, Krystal. I always have my eyes open for a REASONABLY priced old crock pot. Definitely very useful. You can also keep your hide glue bottles in it while you work and that is SO much better. Right now I have to heat water in a microwave and sit the glue bottle in it for a time. But, having a crock pot is better because you can just plug it in and leave it for hours safely. I don't think it uses a lot of electrical either. (If I plug in too many things I get breakers going off, PITA.) Thanks for the video! 😃
Haha!!! I hope that comment isn't a bit to riske' in my video lmbo!! I am glad you got a chuckle out of it! Ohhhh never thought about that with the glue, great tip Cat!! Ohhh yes you have an old house so I'm sure the electricity is a bit more finicky!!
@@thekraftycreech Finicky it is, Krystal. This is Appalachia. I 'used to have' a telephone pole that carried a wire up the mountain to my barn. It was interesting hanging clothes back there on a rather windy day. 🤑 Sooo, 2 years ago my friend (and contractor) was replacing the electricals because they stopped working. No surprise there. I decided to go underground to be safer. Well, it was so much $$$$ to bury a 200 amp (electricians can correct me please) wiring system that we just tapped off my )currently 100 amp) system in the house. Now, when I run two items at once in the barn I often flip a breaker in the house. I have to come home, go to the basement, flip a breaker switch and go back up to the barn. Frustrating. I just couldn't afford to give it its own unit and my barn is two stories/four separate sections (it's BIG!).
@OwlingDogDesign oh wow Cat!!! That sounds so fustrating lol! It's like a big time waster especially when you are trying to get something done! And home repairs are so crazy expensive 😩 we just had to replace our hot water heater ugh.
Good idea, I hate dealing with painted hardware. I have an extra crock pot, I need a place to put it. I must have missed it, how long was it in there, or did you keep checking it and scrub it a little and throw them back in the pot?
Hang on to that baby lol!! About 4 or 5 hours is good on high.. my hardware had a lot of decorative areas so the scrubbing was nessacary to remove the loosened paint from the carved areas ;) 😉
