Thank you! The old route had you go to Minotaur room, but best ending route ended up being about 10-15 seconds quicker. Just wanted to get a decent run with some updated strats at the beginning of 2022. This was my first speedgame and will probably revisit this one again at some point in the future :)
Here's a full run Tutorial I made last year, th-cam.com/video/1ZfLTXmAJec/w-d-xo.html and a link to the Drac X speedrunning wiki castlevaniaspeedruns.com/Dracx/stage3 It requires you to start at one of two pixels to get the initial boost, waiting for the bats to reach a certain point on the screen and then performing a max height backflip (frame perfect A button press to perform the backflip, 11 frames after your initial jump).

Awesome speedrun. I almost always screw up in stage 3 at the long room where you fall into that alternate route.
