@@eazymerked you can do it quite quickly by buying high tier weapons of the type you want and smelting them. Costs a lot, but once you get to the tier 4 parts unlocking the rest is very fast
I love this. Get trade to 300 in minutes, but first you have to play for a few hours to have the skill points needed to get to 8, and max out the trade skill to 5.
basically we manipulate Caravan by using sanala(kingdom) to change the currency put 500 steel in Sanala = Caravan sell cheaper rate (meaning you can buy back ore cheaper) buyback 500 steel in Sanala = Caravan Buy your steel higher price then any market main source is get 500 steel + any amount of Smith Material to make this method work do it wrong and you might cause your coin lost from Caravan
this still works and it's amazing big help I've been playing for a while on my ps5 got about 800 just now and I'm learning more about different skills and seeing that they are helping me much more in new play thoughs

tested it just now, it still works just fine but you loose some money, attribute on 8 and 5 focus points you will lose approximately 150 000 denars, so it isn't much. and it's quite quick even though i didn't have 500 metals of each (only like 800 crude iron, 500 wrought iron and less of everything else), so imo you don't even to loose time smithing all metals to 500 to get it quick, just make sure to keep like 500 steel though.

so to recap the source of the xp is the iron you sold to the caravan the steel you sold at the town stabilizes the price of iron for the caravan so you can buy it back
A tip: when buying steel back from Sanala, put all of the smelted item then take it all back including the steel (steel must be taken first), the buying price should go down by more than 50%

But hero's videos are the real og of 300 trade exploits on TH-cam (there is even older stuff, but those methods were simpler and got patched quickly)

I'm sorry to say this but I've tried every city in the game to buy metal but all I find I'd iron or silver. I get u have to make material with smiting but from how u do things u are able to buy it and I haven't even seen one drop of it in my games unless I make it myself

Because I swear that you couldn’t get thamaskene steel from smelting stuff I tried with so many weapons they might have changed it in a patch.
i just use 8x buff to evereything this game is a grind otherwise
