I was born in 87. I still remember the days when me and my father went to camping in the 90's (we did it often) and had an cassette with this song and some Doobie Brother etc... That vibe in that old beat up car with my dad while this song was on is something that I truly truly miss now and it's something that I will never ever get to experience again except thru this song. It's almost stupid how a song can make you feel. Anyways, thanks for reading my comment and have an amazing morning/day/night!
Back when Mtv played music, they would play this song, video all the time. I was 12 years old and loved this song. I Have a favorite memory of me and my best friend sneaking out of a family dinner at chilies and going to Sound waves to by the crash test dummies tape then listening to it in the parking lot together. Now I am 43 years old and my best friend at that time is dead, I still have the same cassette tape we bought together that day.
God Shuffled His Feet was in my cd player on repeat for months. It was all i listened to for a short period of time, and now 30 years later I still remember just about every word to every song. And I understand the lyrics a little better in my old age. One of my favorite albums of all time.
This was my 1st ever cassette tape as a 13 year old mum bought me played it over and over for weeks👍 still love crash test dummies all there later stuff after that album👍👍 wish they would come to New zealand where I live👍 mmmmmm lol
Good old times! And the best was that in 1993 not half of the audience had a gadget aka smartphone in front of their face to film the whole stuff. They were able just to enjoy this unique moment. Even if I know that I couldn‘t have watched this piece of music today. ;-)
Wow tq for sharing…love CTD so much, I’m a big fan from 🇲🇾 funny enough in 1990’s I wrote to them telling how good their album back then…without any expectation they replied back 😂😅❤
I was born in the late 80's. This song invokes the smell of car exhaust, cigarettes, and spilled beer with a hint of the oil from bowling lanes. The 90's were great 😂
I hope and wish the put some New Music out... love this Band.. There are the Best.. Part of the Sound Track to My life.. this came out when I was in High School.. Dam such Great Memories with alot of Friends that's been long Gone.. RIP to all the Great Friends and People we lost way to Early but in some Crazy way, the Brief Time in our lives Help Shape it and ultimately changed it... RIP !! TO ALL THE FRIENDS IN HIGH SCHOOL AND GRADE SCHOOL THAT LEFT US WAY TO SOON.. WE ❤ YA AND ALWAYS THINKING OF YA..
Wow they still together. Awesome. I remember when this song came out I wore the tape out and it broke had to go beg me mom to buy me new one and same thing happened
Haha.. wow.. I hadn't thought of this song for like 25+ years and I instantly remember that I was sitting in my dads basement playing Forbidden Bridge. I liked it so much, I actually got the Crash Test Dummies NES hoping this song was in it. Haha.. I was a little kid don't judge. But the nostalgia... 💖
When this song first came out, we were already flooded with interesting, fresh music. But this... we had no idea what this was. What's more, we _still_ have no idea! Is this even a pop song??!
When they wrote this song, all those years ago, there’s no way they imagined they’d still be singing it, at this age, at music festivals. Creativity is extraordinary.
When Crash Test Dummies broke in the US, the lead singer reminded me of Neil from "The Young Ones." That's not a slight against either, I loved both back in the day. 🤘
One time in a bar back in early 2000's a few friends and I made a mosh pit while this song was playing. Sooner than later a lot of the people joined us in the slowest pogo dance in history, how I miss those times.
Después de verlo en Instagram una persona comentó que era playback 1000%... Sí, una exageración. Pues aquí 8/5/2024 lo veo cantando en vivo y suena extraordinario.
Important part of the soundtrack of humanity's peak era so far (1990 - 9/11/2001). So lucky, having experienced adolescence during that decade. Presence prooves, those days are gone forever.
I'll always be amazed at everyone that buys a ticket to watch a live show through their phone. I get a few of you know how tho hold still and have a good phone.. and ya.. Thanks for the free ticket...Nice work....But why do 700 of 1000 people need to? Just enjoy. I digress though. nice work camera person..... and great performance CTD

Nice...we didn't know it or think much of it at the time - only years later. Funny how that is. My dad has been gone since 2009.
I was born in '87 too! This song connected to so many people!
Love this.
Me too!! I was born in 89 and love 90s music, as well as classic rock
Dude I literally pictured this in my head by your description. Hope the memories live on! @belowaverageracing
The 1990s really were an incredible time for music. This incredibly weird song actually became a hit!

So happy to hear you guys again!
This song reminds me of 30 yrs ago, the OBX, a girl I really knew, afternoons and coffeespoons.
This stings bittersweet
all those many years ago and those first 2 albums are still in my heavy rotation.
I was born in the late 80's. This song invokes the smell of car exhaust, cigarettes, and spilled beer with a hint of the oil from bowling lanes. The 90's were great 😂
Just one music can change a band.
I was just listening to "Afternoons and Coffee Spoons" on my way home from the store today. CTD will *always* have a place in my playlist!
When I'm sick and can't sleep...Crash Test Dummies. It calms my mind for some reason. I never hear the last song on the album.
I hope and wish the put some New Music out... love this Band.. There are the Best.. Part of the Sound Track to My life.. this came out when I was in High School.. Anos 80 e 90 são mágicos. Só quem sabe a tradução dessa canção entende o quão rica é
Timeless 90’s song 🎸🔥💪🏻
I think he sounds better then ever. Great band, even better song.
When this song first came out, we were already flooded with interesting, fresh music. But this... we had no idea what this was. What's more, we _still_ have no idea! Is this even a pop song??!
Love it...
Time never forgive, it took its toll
Memories I've never lived...
Just a classic 💯
One of the all time great albums.
Wow!! They sound great!!
Great to hear them again.
If ever there was a song that requires a STELLAR monitor mix it’s this…..
Haaaaaarrryyy. Harrry!!!
When they wrote this song, all those years ago, there’s no way they imagined they’d still be singing it, at this age, at music festivals. Creativity is extraordinary.
Great to see this fine band rolling again.
I can only imagine how much better this sounded live 30 years ago.
Does this crowd realise how lucky they are to see this live
Right on...
