When my mom and I were watching that scene, she knew the oxygen destroyer wouldn’t work on Ghidorah because she pointed out that he can fly in space. Plus, story wise, it would’ve been too quick and simple. Sure it helped the story in Gojira but there was more build up, tragedy behind it and it was the only hope they had against a Gojira that was a danger to humans.
Okay, but it's a bomb. With a yield. His need or lack thereof to respirate should be completelt independent of whether or not it does any damage. Its like saying you should be immune to a hydrogen bomb because you dont need hydrogen
@crazycritick in the context of the freakish durability of the fictional movie monster? Sure, in the actual scale??? Imagine setting off a fire cracker in a hurricane that detonates a yield much larger than the hurricane. The blast was much larger than Gjidorah, much MUCH larger. Look, the only way it works is because science fiction. And that shluld be good enough, because otherwise you end up doing this and using a metaphor for a fire cracker, which would be literally a billion the size of the hurricane it was placed in. In other words, your metaphor fails literally and works perfectly if you apply dragon ball z/DC comics power level- where power and durability are just abstract point numbers
I know Ghidorah would survive it. Ever since showa, he's known for being an alien kaiju. And since he can survive in a vacuum, he doesn't need to breathe to live.
Ghidorah breathes hydrogen (even in the every other version it has been established that he breathes hydrogen and that his abilities with gravity are partially so that he can bring in hydrogen from stray Stars)
The oxygen destroyer didnt even just nearly killed Godzilla and have no effects on Ghidorah but they just brought something else... and its humanity's fault..
Sid they change the way it works from the original? Because in the original im fairly certain it destroys all oxygen in organic life as well, rendering everything dead almost immediately, not just suffocating them because there is no oxygen to breath. Idk, ive only ever seen this one once so i didnt even remember the oxygen destroyer showing up.
The question is not how King Ghidorah survived the oxygen destroyer, the question is how in the hell did plotzilla survived the oxygen destroyer. Don't say it was to remove the radiation from plotzilla to weaken plotzilla, the damn weapon it called an OXYGEN destroyer DESTROYS OXYGEN IN ALL LIVING THINGS Ghidorah doesn't breathe oxygen plotzilla does .

He's an alien, from outer space. He doesn't require oxygen to live
It’s a bomb full of radiation that blows up anything in a 2 mile radius. It doesn’t literally destroy oxygen
That’s what my mom said.

That bomb was like throwing a firecracker at a hurricane

Would need to know Ghidorah's structural design to say for sure but it's possible that the yield that delivers the blast was simply too weak.
@@dakotaburnside994 it was also underwater which definitely didn't help
That doesn’t make sense. It is a bomb, but that just means Ghidorah is tough enough to be unshaded by the bomb.
Fax bro, that what I try to tell people! Amazing explanation video
Thanks

I swear he doesn't need radiation either? Like if you really need to drop a 50 megaton on his head and voila

@@Capt.sirpika I know the clue to plotzilla survival.
bruh, the answer was said in the f**king movie!
Yeah but there’s always some people who didn’t get it and it’s gotta be explained to em
It was only mentioned briefly and many people missed it.
A nuther king ghidorah should come from space being chased by you know who

How can younuse wings in space bro, what ever happened to air resistance
He uses his gravity abilities to move through space
Why cant they just use antimatter its literally gonna eradicated everything radioactive or not
Antimatter is a pretty hard material to come by and use
It would cost trillions if not a whole lot more zeroes for 1 antimatter bomb. So we would go extinct before that.
