OMG! This was so entertaining to watch!! Watching you all troubleshoot and move outside of your comfort zone had me excited and nervous but you’re all BRILLIANT and FUNNY!! All winners! 🏆
I bought a baby monstera (I'm talking 12inches tall with all it's baby leaves) and unintentionally left it in front of a fan for a week. To my surprise the next leaf that can had three fenestrations on it! I then moved it out of the way of the fan and the next 5 leaves had zero fenestrations 😂 I think I hacked it by making the plant think it was in a week long hurricane. I'd love to see him do an experiment with wind!

BEST plant show ever....seriously. I forget which TH-camr I was watching, but they kept refering to KTP that I had to check it out. I'm hooked and learn with each episode. Truly appreciate your zen way of speaking and your general approach to houseplants. I’ve got 4 monsteras! Was never allowed them when I was younger. Now I’ve got no one annoying me about plants… they live in the bathroom and they love it there! Your plants all look amazing! X

Damn you know you're in the rabbit hole if you knew almost all of the participants. I loved the idea, I think there are many fun things you guys could try out that don't take 5 months too (f.ex. best thrift, best salvage after 1month,...)!❤
Suggestions for next round: wildfern and Claire, Jungle Haven. Also I thought you were going to throw yourself down the hill after seeing the adonsonii, I thought that was going to be the joke then ... OOOH he's getting his own driftwood.

Fun vid. I propose a challenge for you guys. Everyone gets a tissue culture, need to defask and see who brings it in. Maybe 1 month updates during the race. Yes, there will be causalities, that’s part of the fun lol.

Same here! I think it would have been more fair if everyone would have gotten the same plant… Some are slower growers than others. Monster Adansonii grow like crazy compared to all other plants.

Love your channel!!! Gave me the confidence to go out and buy my first M. deliciosa, which , thanks to your various videos is thriving 🤞. I loved the driftwood set up as well but I was wondering how you treated it (besides giving it a thorough hose down) to prevent and eliminate any pests and possible rot? I know the ones in pet stores are pre-treated but I loved that you went out there by the water and made your selection!

I'm new with plants and every time I google something about my plants I get a different answer from sooo many people I'm getting confused lmao.. totally wish I had found this channel earlier as everything he's said to do I've basically done the opposite :( they all seem to know a great amount about plants as they're all beautiful, so Ill make sure to check with this group first for future references!! awesome vid!

Quick monstera question, which relates to this because driftwood and cork bark poles… I have my monstera on a birch pole and some wild fungus is growing out of the soil at the base of the birch. Should I panic? It hasn’t seemed to impact my monstera yet. I’m honestly not over watering either, I have really well draining soil and use a moisture meter before I water.
Generally the fungus is just feeding on the soil and not harmful to the plant. Keep monitoring. Remove the mushrooms if you want. Water less as more moisture will help the fungus.
