I have watched this video a thousand times. I still have it on VHS. The ending always brings me to tears because her ability to sing is understood. No one can touch her vocal power or runs but one needs to appreciate all the other things she is doing and when you realize it, what she does is beyond comprehension. She waves her hands, she wails, she roars, she moves and when she ascends those stairs in 7 inch heels like she is skipping rope on the playground, I am floored by her musical showmanship. All this energy and this is the end of the show! Good Lord! The entire stage is her prop: the mike, the band, the background singers and the ochestra, all bend to her will. She is like a hurricane. All that power, grace and beauty in 1 body. God made Patti and said, I am done. No more! Ever again! To be born in this time and to see and hear her thru the years, Lord I am beyond blessed!

This is Patti's best concert performance by far - I can't tell you how many times I've watched this show over the years - it brings me so much joy - Patti gives her ALL on stage & no one can touch her raw talent - she is in the spirit! This used to be only on VHS and I had to rent it over & over at the video store - I have it on Laser Disc but have no way to watch it on my TV - maybe I need to convert to DVD?

I love those diamond looking chandelier earings. I was going to buy some like that for my wife many years ago. but, we got divorced. Maybe I can get a Patti Miracle and get her back. I seen Patti sing to a Married couple once on Oparah because the Husband was a huge Patti fan. She was very customer service to them and classy but still showed him some Love. hisa wife set it up for a birthday present, very class act. She truly Loves her fans and gives them over 100 %. Much like Elvis Presley. I often think they would have a been a good duet. Elvis and Patti. They were both vocal composers and elvis sang a music he learned from growing up around black people.
