Since i have born, and i'm sure most of the people in Bolivia and in a special way all the ones from Cochabamba... we all have a big proud of be bolivians and see our flag and hearts in that planes, and each of us knows that this airline is a LIVING proof of something, we can do good things, excelent things, even if all the universe is against us, LAB was the 13th airline in the world in sep/14th/1925 and before it's 100th aniversary everything will be just as it has always been... perfect
Great video. I like the way you document the entire process of preparing the flight. The flight crew, ground crew servicing the aircraft, boarding the aircraft, on-board before take off, take off and cruise. These were the days when LAB was at its best. Too bad this aircaft ended its life just before it landed in Trinidad, in my opinion due to bad flight planning. Fuel starvation!
I have remembrances of my first flight in LAB, perhaps in 1997, from La Paz to Santa Cruz via Cochabamba, in a Boeing 727-100 (the first series). In the cabin the luggage were placed in open trays with nets, like the one you can find in old railroads. Also I remember that the airplane have a lavatory in the middle of the cabin, a very weird location. Great plane the 727, with their curious door in the back at the end of the aisle with their own stair, remember? Nice video, see that airplane brings me a lot of memories.

amen to that....hope it works out...though Boa Aviacion and Tam's competition is pretty tough to beat, Lloyd will survive somehow....
