Joe says they want to steal creatures and put stickers on them. But you can only put stickers on a permanent that you *own*. They were prepared for vandalism lol
There still are some extremely convoluted ways to legally put stickers on opponent's cards.

@@Intangible360 the opponent would have to choose 3 sticker sheets at the beginning of the game. So they would have to already be a sticker player. If you were to mind-slaver an opponent and give your sticker cards, the sticker effects would fizzle because your opponent has no sticker-sideboard to pull stickers from. And even if they did, they are legally allowed to use dice/any piece of paper to represent stickers.
Someone mentioned a very strange grouping of cards from this set that allows you to steal someone's cradle, then use it to become that folding octopus token to RUIN it
If you were to pay Wicker Picker’s sticker kicker on a card you’ve taken using something like Preators Grasp, that could also be a way to put a sticker on a card you don’t own? (Not sure if the ‘play’ a non-land card if it counts as casting or not… I think it does)
People are sleeping on Lifetime Pass Holder. You can really cycle through attractions for passive value if you have a way to easily recur and sac a creature. In my Lurrus deck, this will be bananas
Lifetime pass holder kinda reminds me of shambling ghast in power. And shambling ghast is a really solid common

@@jonasdietrich8109 I love unsets, they're my favourite part of magic. Which is why I hate them being in commander. It ruins the fun of them when the goal is to win. When I'm drafting unset, winning isn't even on my mind; I don't care about card strength. The moment they enter a format that's in any way competitive, they lose most of their charm and just become cards that must be evaluated and that takes away the magic and whimsy for me

I'm not interested in Unfinity myself. Only thing I want from it is the reprints of the lands. I don't even want to see a single card of it in actual commander. Making a joke set legal in other formats was a bad idea to me. But that's just my own opinion.

I'm so unsure that I'm (with permission ofc) banning almost all of them in playgroups. I hate stickers, I hate attractions and I hate everything about the fact an unset is legal. It's diametrically opposed to their point and I hate it
real talk, I'm glad to see a video talk about cool cards from Unfinity instead of yet another video about how stickers and attractions are the devil that need to be rule 0'd out of the game.
Meh, I saw that wave of videos, skimmed a couple and I feel like most content creators made them during spoiler week just for the clicks and cater to the general unpopularity. Real "ye I hate them too, comment and subscribe~" feels
Going through those videos again and the thing that bugs me is people not knowing and not wanting to know the mechanics, misrepresenting what you can do or how they work and then being mad about it. Tired of the outrage for clicks.

n*(n-1)/2, in case you're wondering how much power starlight spectacular gives... so it's indeed +15 power with 6 creatures, but it's +105 power with 15 creatures :)
There actually is one sticker with all 6 vowels. It's Delusionary which is on sheet #30 so definitely run that if you're playing ____ goblin
There's only 5 vowels in English, Y just replicates the sound of one but is grammatically a constanant.

RE: Clown Robot. WIth the reveal of the Transformer cards, there are a lot more robots now available to get that trigger for a bonus robot.
the command zone is a public zone, the Hand is not,
if you want the sticker to stay on your commander, you need to pay the commander tax if it gets bounced.
Most dangerous Gamer is a sneaky good artifacts matter commander in golgari. It poops out attractions that are artifacts, and half if the ones you would play help passively making more artifacts.
I have been running a line that I nicknamed Clown Car Combo for the last 6months or so that basically runs Token X spells, a vehicle, and Halo Fountain. Opponents end step generate X tokens my upkeep everyone in the car pay to untapped and win with Fountain. The printing of this card is perfect for the combo and flavor
Saw in half also has the use case of hitting and opponents Commander, Cutting it's stats in half, removing any counters, and they only keep one due to the legend rule.
Favor 10/10, Power Better then a lot of people thing/10
If I am playing a commander with either a static or a tap ability, I pray that my commander gets sawn in half lol. I don't care if I have to sacrifice one, and have the "real" commander in zone to recast when needed. frankly, if I run saw in half, I'm looking as much to saw my own creatures than theirs 🙂
That use case seems strictly worse than ordinary spot removal tbh

I'm a sucker for things that make tokens when they die, so I'll be looking to Saw in Half some Wurmcoil Engine, Triplicate Titans, or Phyrexian Triniform. Heck, even Craterhoof would be hilarious.

Starlight spectacular is amazing. You get the effect on the turn it comes down. You don't have to choose attacking creatures so you can pump up one or two evasion creatures. You do it every combat and it only costs 4? I'll be getting a playset of them for any go wide strat with white for sure.
Saw in half is a black instant version of Twinflame/heat shimmer.

You guys don't give nearly enough credit to this set.
An attraction deck is up to 10 free Artifact Affinity that's nearly always available at least once. Stickers persist when moving between any active zone besides the hand or library.
Simply having an attraction open gives you a free dice roll every single turn.
This set has potential for popping off nonstop combos and the non-acorn cards will 100% be edh staples as soon as people stop sleeping on their mechanics.
Any deck that cares about rolling dice or d6 in specific benefits tremendously from Attractions.
No mention of Merry-Go-Round -- horsemanship! Put that in your infect and poison decks. Or maybe goblins.

Actually the starlight specatcular may be even stronger cause if you are semi wide you can chose your commander last and they could be pretty easily in 2-3 shot commander damage range.

Cathar's Crusade doesn't have an immediate effect like Starlight Spectacular: with Cathar's Crusade, you have to continue putting creatures into play to pump your team. Like Craterhoof Behemoth, Starlight Spectacular simply requires that you have a board state filled with creatures to reap the rewards. This card is too good not put in my combat-focused Alela deck.
_____ Goblin is broken. With the right stickers he's gauranteed to be a +1 ritual, with 70% chance of +2 or more and a 30% of +3. How many +3 rituals even exist, not to mention on a body. Dockside, only?
My Anhelo deck is going to love him; you get to ritual without triggering casualty and then you even get a body to sacrifice to your payoff spell.

I wanted to do the steal your opponents cards and add a sticker to it as well, but the text says cards you own, not control. Unfortunate it doesn't work that way (though its probably for the best)

For Exchange of Words, it seems like it doesnt care if the creatures chosen leave the battlefield. Does that mean if you choose a commander and it goes back to the command zone, it still had whatever text it was switched with?
Well, if a creature card leaves the battlefield and then comes back, it technically will be a different creature, so no. But if one of the chosen creatures leaves, the other one would still have abilities that have been moved.
Basically it's an interesting take on Gilded Drake.
Almost all of the cards that I actually liked from Unfinity were acorn stamped. The actual regular stamped cards were mostly meh to me, as they seem to all involve dice, stickers or attractions, none of which I particularly like in my magic decks.

@@V2ULTRAKill Having infinite combos does not automatically make an A/S tier card. An A/S tier card is good in every situation and those cards are not good unless you have already assembled the pieces for the combo.

The lands, literally only the lands are intersting to me. As it should be with un- sets. They are meant to be fun and quirky draft cards, not taken seriously for any period of time.

It makes it WAY too easy to combo off. If it wasn't an instant, it would still be strong, but as it is, busted AF.
Just the sheer ETB fuckery you can do with it even without an infinite. How do you not win after hitting your gary with it? Muxus? This thing needed to be 5-6 mana, or a sorcery.
Cards arent banned in commander due to power level. Just don't play vs combo decks if you don't like them. Or just run more counterspells : )
