- There are a handful of things you can do to get the most out of Midjourneys 'Zoom' feature, from rewriting your prompt to transferring between styles! Midjourney Version 5.2 has lots of little quirks to it, please let me know if I've missed anything.

Yup......that's the far superior way to negative prompt something you don't want. The --no SUCKS most of the time
Yeah I think --no is good enough for like a small object, but for any foundation of the image, I think you'll have to bump up the negative values
You can remix your V4 and change the V4 parameter to V5.2 and then you'll be able to zoom out
nicee! good to know
Can't believe he didn't come up with that 🥱
You can even "remaster" V4 or V5 to 5.2 --its called ... Remaster and works perfect
Right! I should have thought of that, thanks for the suggestion
5.2 sometimes makes things too dark and photorealistic tho i convert to 5.1 more often🫠
I bought the prompt pack. It is really unique. It's worth the money.
I'm really glad to hear that! Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep trying to make them better and better
Awesome video once again. Thanks for answering to my question on your previous video! I think here 8:50 you should change first the settings and choose the (make subtle variation), and after click the normal (V) variation button under your old image. Also change the aspect ratio when you make the zoom.
Ohhh, that's a really good idea. I should have tried that for sure ... honestly it's hard to keep up with every possibility lol so I appreciate input like yours
Thank you for the very useful tips😊
Happy to help!
MANY 🤯 moments here! Thank you. 💯
🤝 My brain also cannot stop being amazed lol
Dope video! thanx so much my dude 🤘
and thank you for taking the time to comment!
Dude! Thank you for the free PDFs. So helpful for non artists like me. Subbed.
Hey I'm super glad you found them useful! I have another one I'm working on, so check back soon
Another excellent video. Have shared it via my twitter account. Thank you.
Thanks for the support!! I appreciate it
Great!! Thanks again
🤝 Cheers
I would love to see a video on how to use Midjourney to help some regular businesses. I have a golf range and Midjourney really doesn’t like creating golfers. Would love to be able to use Midjourney to create some cool social media posts.
I hear you, I think about it all the time and I do have some videos planned. But to answer your specific problem, unfortunately for Golf and other sports don't work very well in Midjourney. The bot just hasn't been trained on enough sports images, so I bet it will improve in the future. But you could try something like I do in this video th-cam.com/video/4FQgkyMGdVY/w-d-xo.html - only use a golf image as your image prompt
@@FutureTechPilot thank you. I will try that. Keep up the great work. You are my favourite Midjourney TH-camr. Always informative with a fun personality. 👍🏼
WOW .. oh the possibilities
haha mind blowing for sure
Awesome tip!
Glad I could help!
Amazing tip$!
Glad I could help!
Awesome!
💯
I think the poop emoji is probably from stuff - trolling you ;). Great video btw!
hahah thanks!
Great video with many valuable information. Do you know how to avoid getting the picture darker every time you zoom out? After 6 zooms of the same subject the picture is too dark. Even using 1.5 zoom. Thanks!
I think I've heard other people mention the same thing ... must be just a quirk of the system right now! I don't think there is anyway to avoid it, but if you hear of a solution, please let me know
Amazing.
💯
Another interesting thing I noticed --weird works in NIJI.
nice vid. i need help with something. For example, if i have a picture of a character with a white background, is there a way that i can have the same character and pose, but change the background?
Not in midjourney. You'd have an easy time doing that in something like Photoshop though. Just generate Backgrounds in Midjourney, and then place your character in them using another program
@@FutureTechPilot thank you👌
Hello. Can you make a detailed example video about wedding photography? I can pay
haha don't worry about payment, but I can definitely experiment and see what I can learn
If I want a long ribbon of art, like 1:77, would this work? Thanks!
Yeah if you use the 'custom zoom' and change the aspect ratio!
Important tip: Never use the word photo realistic or any type of realism in a prompt, that’s a term only used in the art world which makes your images look unreal.
Good tip! Thanks
when you're searching for an old image and want the new features, if you find the pre-upscaled version then reupscale I think you get the new version features attached to the new upscale... no?
I guess I didn't show it in the video, but no it doesn't work. And I just tried it again now to make sure I wasn't imagining it, lol still doesn't work. BUT, someone else pointed out that if you have /remix turned on, you can edit the prompt and change it from an older version to --v 5.2 and then you'll have the new features
--no = -0.5 (negative nought point Five)
That's right! Didn't feel like it was 1 but I guess I wasn't sure. Thanks for the clarification
how is that I cant see the -Beta Upscale Redo- as one of my options ;(
Beta Upscale was from Version 3 and stuck around until Version 5. So if you prompt using an older algorithm (--v 3 or --v 4) you'll see it as an option under your upscales
Riddle me this my friends, A Pirate ship floats on the ocean, a Kraken below. Ok this is called a "Split shot" or "Over Under" but I can't get it right. Always ends up with a Kraken on top of a pirate ship lol. Tried Kraken first, then zoom, and Pirate ship then zoom. Same problem.
The new 'pan' feature might help you with this! Or piecing together the concept in another program, and using that picture as an image prompt in Midjourney!
@@FutureTechPilot Funny that feature was released like 3 days after my post! Thanks!, I also have photoshop so this may be a team up project.
You added the word "unsplash" in your prompt. What is your intention with that and what is the effect?
Unsplash is a stock photography website, and it's a really powerful word in Midjourney. It basically gives you a consistent cinematic look without needing to use a bunch of words in your prompt
@@FutureTechPilot ah, right. Thanks
How do you zoom in, making the image more close up. I cannot figure this out, ugh.
You can't zoom in!
@@FutureTechPilot Aw, that's too bad.
✌️
🤝
ok, but.. how to ZOOM-IN?
haha you can't unfortunately
