Hi Nimsight, While applying for ACS Migration Skills Assessment, I am unable to select 'State' under 'Contact Details' in the 'Personal Details' tab. It is shown as Not Applicable. Moreover, I am not able to include comma and full-stop while typing in the address.
The coma and full stop thingie is intentionally set by ACS. Only God knows why they have made it that way but it is sheer stupidity. There is no option but to make do with what we have. Did u manage to put in an application btw?

Minimum is just 65 for being eligible.. The threshold at which they give invites vary based on profession, timing etc. So, you can still apply and wait. Meanwhile, try increasing points if possible

Its for 5 years. You can renew it after every 5 years or apply for Australian citizenship. You can move back to your home country after PR . But if you stay outside for a long time as a PR , you have to reenrol and there are some formalities.
Civil engineering , I think is a not a bad option. But you might have to put efforts, network and go through all the hardwork while searching for jobs. You can also apply filters and search the number of job openings on websites like Seek, Indeed, linkedin etc.

@@kamranrehan6495 Thats a good score, however you will get only 10 points. If you want to claim 10 more points for pr purposes, you have to score overall 79 and 79 in each.. You can give again if you are falling short of points. Just prepare a bit more and you should be able to crack it.

But, just in my view, you can try to get a job here, work for 1 year- gain 5 points if english 8 in all is not an option, or try for PR with what you have for 190 subclass for NSW, VIC or Other states.
