- Hello everyone,
On this episode we meet Miguel and his fully equipped Honda CRV! I learned quite a bit from Miguel about the CRVs in general. These awesome CRVs are ready for adventure at all times. It was nice to hear the different accessories that are available for this chassis. Miguel continues to source and gut these awesome family cars. It helps when he is the first one at the junkyards to find the rare pieces.

This is the CRV Honda NEEDS to build. There is something to be said about an affordable SUV, one that can be used and functional for more than just moms with baby seats. Mom can use this one and dad can be proud using it too… Thayer can afford it and drive a bad ass truck at the same time. Hope Honda pays attention to this channel cause it’ll tell them what people want and need.
Got to give props to this brother man, what a clean old school Honda Crv. Let me tell you when money is no Object you can make any car look good. I tell you if I had the money I will make my old school 2004 Toyota RAV4 look super clean.

I spliced into my running lights for my fog lights so when I turn my runners on the fogs turn on with em. I didn’t want to mess with running the wire through my fire wall and mounting a switch. Love this crv it’s lovely.

My first car was a 98 CR-V it was a fwd automatic. I loved that thing. Now I have an element with the AWD and 5 speed manual and love it. I miss my old crv but the element is so much the same feel.

Same. 99 auto-awd lx, green. Mine is so close to being road ready again. Then I can slowly build up to something like this. Though it’ll be the daily, so it will be a long while. Still got my table tho 😆
I got a 2001 CRV 253000km I bought it a month ago, white like yours and 2.0, its a 5 speed an all wheel drive, lower control arms being replaced on Wednesday.
A week ago i bought a 2 seater couch, I folded the rear seat & it fitted easily.

Looks sweet man. I have a fully optioned ‘99 EX manual, only option it doesn’t have is the auto trans. I absolutely love it. Have a few things planned, but for now it’s none stock besides a short shifter adapter and HD detent springs.

I just got the Honda cooler/fridge off of eBay. I also got one of the 12v showers they offered. A reproduction but I wanted to show it off. I just bought a low mileage 2000 EX rd1 CRV.

@@miquem360 for which thing? The CR-V was $2000. About $30 for the shower and $140 for the Honda cooler including shipping from the UK. I just got the cooler and tested it this morning. It’s in near mint condition and is working. I’m going to run a test on it and post a video down the road since I can’t find much info on them.

@@miquem360 no insta. I’ll just post to TH-cam. Yeah, when I saw it I snatched it up. I’m sure a CR-V collector will want one down the road so it was a safe investment. I’m going to keep the CR-V bone stock and keep the miles down. It’s definitely hitting a lo-fi nostalgia nerve and should be a fun car. I do plan on some car camping as well. I live in Alaska.

The foundation of why he built it the way he did it how im building my crv as well! I have one kid, and planning on a 2nd soon. So lowering is is a no, and that's why I am going to lift it. We also want to use it for taking it to national parks and trips. Great build though! I follow this guy on IG and this thing is so clean.

Ha its like if you know you know, started off with a del sol si, moved onto the Jetta, then into the integra, the next del sol, the civic, the accord, the next civic, the TL...and now...I'm at the CRV first gen. I loved them all, never had any hate for my cars, but that Jetta had problems from day 1 lol
I was waiting for a 5 speed crv and I sold my 97 accord to get it when I found it

@@miquem360 it was minor stuff, lights going out too soon, brake caliper seizure, bent valves, small things lol but I loved the jetta it was such a smooth cruiser, 1.8t 20v it wasn't too bad at all

Hola, veo el título en Español, supongo que también lo hablas. Tengo un crv 98 y me entusiasma hacerle unos cambios de llantas y neumáticos, ej en lugar de 205 ponerle 215. La pregunta es si te surgen problemas en bujes o tren delantero, se me ocurre que por el aumento de peso podría pasar eso, encontrar repuestos de este vehículo es complicado en mi país. Desde ya gracias por tu tiempo

I love the CRV I have two 1999 models. One front wheel drive only and the other has real time 4WD. I hate to break it to you though but there's no such thing as a 1992 VW bug. They quit making them in 1979 and didn't start making them again until 1998.
