I feel like Steven Universe has one of the biggest potentials to be in the horror genre. These alien creatures, who are treating a half boy half alien, as if their own, despite having a father. They have gems inside their bodies, and mesh together when they fuse. Malachite is definitely the most scariest fusion, with the four legs, hunched back, and four beady eyes. Plus she was made out of hatred. And the Lapis infused nightmares Steven was having, were already creepy enough. Sorry for ranting, Pearl looked perfect!

my headcannon for Pearl is that after Steven was born and rose/pink "died" she was driven mad with grief to the point where she was altered is some way, either cracked (which would explain an eye-like shape on her gem) or corrupted. Unable to summon her gem weapon, she made a makeshift spear with a stick and a cooking knife and set out for revenge, trying to kill Greg because it was technically his "fault" and likely baby Steven too.

Yeah!! Octi would be a really good one, especially since octopuses have a lot of aspects that can be really scary (like a sharp beak, bulging and unnatural head and eyes, and tentacles could be used to imply the work of eldritch horrors), and Octi already has a cool, dark color palette, so honestly it wouldn't take that much to make him super creepy.
I think that Bubbles would be more creepy if she was like the silent, sad, hurt and tired lil girl mentally and physically tortured by her sisters cause she is too nice to do anything against them also she could be hurting herself cause of the way that all the trauma caused by sisters made her think about pain and punishment

A scientist tries to create the perfect little girl, but he accidentally spills some Chemical X in the mix, creating three bug-eyed, fingerless children with dangerous powers. Now the citizens of Townsville live in fear of the three horrible monsters that have taken over the city, and Professor Utonium has to destroy his creations before they destroy him.

In the original design, pearl is standing in 3rd position, I believe. Plea means "to bend" in french, so if she was bending her knees with the same foot position, that would be a plea in 3rd position. Love these drawings by the way! :-)

I just thought of a really good one for the Pikachu one. Pikachu was finally evolving into Raichu after an uncannily long time without evolving, but the evolution had an error (because Pikachu didnt evolve for so long) and it turned into the monster version of Pikachu So probably it could be an alternate universe pokemon movie.

The whole scary Bubbles thing made me realize that the Powerpuff Girls could totally be a horror movie with a few adjustments. A scientist tries to create the perfect little girl, but he accidentally spills some Chemical X in the mix, creating three bug-eyed, fingerless children with dangerous powers. Now the citizens of Townsville live in fear of the three horrible monsters that have taken over the city, and Professor Utonium has to destroy his creations before they destroy him.

In the original design, pearl is standing in 3rd position, I believe. Plea means "to bend" in french, so if she was bending her knees with the same foot position, that would be a plea in 3rd position. Love these drawings by the way! :-)

I just thought of a really good one for the Pikachu one.
Pikachu was finally evolving into Raichu after an uncannily long time without evolving, but the evolution had an error (because Pikachu didnt evolve for so long) and it turned into the monster version of Pikachu
So probably it could be an alternate universe pokemon movie.
