Actually, "Sigma S" is the stress developed in steel. So, It's not exactly the grade of steel. It is 0.87 x "Grade of Steel". So, the value of "Sigma S" for Fe550 is 0.87 x 550 = 478.5 (approximately). So, the actual value of development length is a little extra considered already as per the formula shown in the video. So, the structure is safe, not to worry. But it will not be safe in the case Fe500 is provided instead of Fe415.
For every grade of concrete design bond is as per clauses in civil book it's mentioned in table 26.2.1.1 .for M20/25/30/35 =1.2/1.4/1.5/1.7 If M20 plain bar then Tbd would be 1.2 .if deformed bar 60% increase if compression bar 25% increase. TBD 1.2+(60÷100)*1.2 ...similarly in comparison apply as grade you will get answer
