This stream is actually pretty interesting and I could see why some parts of the game would be hella difficult for him. Sad that so many people dissed.
Without musical background, it really does feel that way. Into you: Quarter Note x2, starts on downbeat usually Crazy into you: Dotted Quarter Note x2, starts on offbeat usually Fo' sho: Dotted Eighth Note x2, starts on downbeat usually (most notorious) All about you: Quarter Note tied to Sixteenth Note x2, starts on offbeat usually Seriously, figuring that out is a pain, and not going by it rhythmically makes it feel literally random.
I always found that for a game like this, tapping out the rhythm with my off-hand was good for keeping track of the beat and getting back in place if I lost it. Like in Air Rally, tapping out Forthington's hits as well as your own so that you have the full timing instead of trying to keep track of a broken rhythm.
For anyone in the comments who struggles with keeping a rhythm the most important tip I can give you is to treat the silence like a beat as well so instead of 1 2 3 4 try 1and 2and 3and 4and
Something I never thought to ask why in double date are the ferrets watching you watch them watch you watch them that sounds like a very boring date for both sides
Watching Dan play this legit brought me so much joy. When I'm having a bad day, I usually put this on in the background and it immediately makes me grin. Literally top tier entertainment
Okay, so during the Monkey watch section I just wanted to say "you're rushing! Slow down! If you miss a note wait until the next beat and join back in." And then I suddenly felt very sympathetic and grateful to my high school band director. I now understand why some days he was more frustrated with us than others. Tricky rhythms and internal tempo are something that comes with lots of practice, but once you have it explaining how it finally clicked is difficult because your brain just auto does it.

I own Rhythm Heaven Megamix (the 3DS/4th one, if anyone that sees this doesn't know them by name,) and I really enjoy seeing the games in HD compared to my 3DS' screen (and it's cool seeing the games not in Megamix that are in this one)
What are the controls on that? A and B as well??
@@hollilypip7428 Mostly yeah, I was watching the stream and am taking a break to go to bed then saw this reply
@@hollilypip7428 yes, as well as simple tap, which is just tapping on the 3ds screen with your stylus
I have rhythm heaven megamix too! I wish i could find my ds to play it again dkhskkdhfls
@@hollilypip7428
A mix of the d-pad and A/B. I think some of the Fever games ported over had the A+B inputs replaced with a simple B input.
Imagine every ten seconds your watch shouts "Ooky, ooky ooky"
And then your watch jumps forward one second 0.0
How come the European text is so different from the American text, even though they’re both in English?
different teams i suppose. i think a team localised the audio for all english versions but different teams localised the ntsc and pal versions' text
And having separate localizing teams helps keep more nuanced offense from happening. Wouldn't want more 'spastic" situations.

So British parents don't have to worry about their children turning into rootin' tootin' cowboys.
So watching this made me want to go through the entire game in one sitting. I did it in 7 and a half hours including remix 10 (which took about an hour). For those who may wonder my experience in rhythm I've got about 10 yrs of percussion experience 4 of which was on a drumline.
Oh wow.
Remix 8 is my favorite. I was actually happy he kept failing. I love listening to that song!

I cannot thank this video enough, this video was what got me into this game franchise and now it has a special place in my heart forever
To be honest, I don’t think I’ve went a day without thinking about this game in some way since I discovered it
Same. It was also this video where I started watching RT seriously.
My favorite is the Tap dancers, just because of how judgemental they are when you slip up even a little lmao

From what I’ve learn from these comments this is Chat at RT.
They are pros through and through.
'Ooky ook ook' will be ingrained in my mind forever
This stream is actually pretty interesting and I could see why some parts of the game would be hella difficult for him. Sad that so many people dissed.
The rap level doesnt even feel like it has a rythym at all
Without musical background, it really does feel that way.
Into you: Quarter Note x2, starts on downbeat usually
Crazy into you: Dotted Quarter Note x2, starts on offbeat usually
Fo' sho: Dotted Eighth Note x2, starts on downbeat usually (most notorious)
All about you: Quarter Note tied to Sixteenth Note x2, starts on offbeat usually
Seriously, figuring that out is a pain, and not going by it rhythmically makes it feel literally random.
When it’s in Japanese it actually sounds pretty good. The English translation has too many syllables I believe and it makes it sound iffy.
iirc Love Rap has a swung rhythm
@@puffs6186 6/8 rhythm, 1+ a ?
You have to *really* be familiar with swing rhythm to get it and even then it’s tricky, once you understand it it just clicks
Can we agree that the music in this game slaps so hard?
slaps harder than the hands of the monkeys in monkey watch

as an american it’s very interesting to see the british version of all the text boxes

I'm in the PAL region but I can't get behind not calling the badminton dog and cat Baxter and Forthington
"Beat The Beat: Rhythm Paradise" is giving me flashbacks to "Jet Grind Radio"
I always found that for a game like this, tapping out the rhythm with my off-hand was good for keeping track of the beat and getting back in place if I lost it. Like in Air Rally, tapping out Forthington's hits as well as your own so that you have the full timing instead of trying to keep track of a broken rhythm.
For anyone in the comments who struggles with keeping a rhythm the most important tip I can give you is to treat the silence like a beat as well so instead of 1 2 3 4 try 1and 2and 3and 4and
Anyone notice that the rockets all have the same timing with different countdown sequences the only one that's actually different is the red 3
I thought I was the only one
All but one. One of them is half a beat before or after the others!
That thing before love rap 2 where he almost went to the wii menu
Any sane person would have hit yes
Europe: "Keep working on your rhythm!"
America: *"That... could've been better..."*
Very supportive.
Something I never thought to ask why in double date are the ferrets watching you watch them watch you watch them that sounds like a very boring date for both sides
The song for the third remix is so good, one of my favourites from this game definitely
Also the 9th remix song and the credits song is great
Ooh, now I recognize the songs!!! Never knew where they were from
there are LOTS of songs that come from the rythm tengoku series, for example, the last remix of the DS game is a song you might'd listen to.

And to think, I thought the highlight reel for this game was long. I'm surprised Dan wasn't _drinking_ by the end of this stream.
Watching Dan play this legit brought me so much joy. When I'm having a bad day, I usually put this on in the background and it immediately makes me grin. Literally top tier entertainment
Oh boy. Looking forward to the highlight video for this.

The chat beep sounds, sound like Snapchat notifications and it’s making my anxiety itch
