NX PMI/MBD for Designers and Engineers

Hello Matt Martin, just watched rhe Video about PMI.
I have a more specific question regarding PMIs in assemblies.
Today we have drawings of our assemblies how they are mounted to a surrounding geometry.
We made in our old system a container with that surrounding geometry that is switched on in the views of the drawings.
Now we want to do that with PMI in NX.
The problem comes up with the surrounding geometry.
Our procedure is now to take the assembly in NX, put in the PMI, including e. g. texts that refer to the surrounding geometry (for example in a assembly that is bolted to some steelworks we have text like "conserve threads of steelworjs with agent xy".
Then we save that assembly with its views and switch to tc vis, were we load the assembly, and additionally the surrounding geometry and then we safe that as a session to the assembly.
Now my question:
Do you have any idea, how we can have the same effect by only using NX?
We have the tc vis in our production where the guys there open the assembly and view the PMI.

how to add or install PMI to NX 12?

PMI is controlled by your license file and is a toggle on the Applications tab. Click on PMI and the tool bar will show. If you don't have the license & you will get an information window. NX bundles Mach 2 and higher have PMI. If you have a Mach 1 license a floating PMI license.
