It seems the same if I uses those created events to trigger the conversion tags for Meta ads? And don't need to set up the Facebook Parameter Generator based variables(mentioned in the videos you posted last year, I mistakenly implement a part of those) for this new set up?

The Facebook Parameter Generator by stape.io has a few bugs, and it throws errors when working with facebook conversion api tags, for ViewCategory and ViewCart and some other events, where, quantity, or price or item_id, or item_name is missing. This Year, I have extended the FB Parameter Generator to Ecommerce Parameter Generator, that takes cares of these bugs. FPG would also work, it will just not track ViewCategory, ViewContent, and View Cart and might throw errors in edge cases

Hi, stape.io has a Facebook Parameter Generator variable, however that variable does not have a backup ecommerce.items.[index].quantity parameter. Because of that, the tags throw error when creating the contents parameter. therefore, we are using this ecommerce parameter generator.

The Preview mode doesn't work with Customer pixel, so you have to use the Browser Inspect Tool > Network Request or use a chrome extension chromewebstore.google.com/detail/adswerve-datalayer-inspec/kmcbdogdandhihllalknlcjfpdjcleom?pli=1 Enable the google marketing on the extension and then retest. Hi, make sure the following things are working: 1. Check if the dataLayer is pushing the purchase event 2. check that dataLayer.ecommerce.value and dataLayer.ecommerce.currency parametrers are pupulating correctly 3. check if the Purchase Tag is firing for Meta 4. Check if the Purchase Tag of meta has value and currency parameters 5. check in the Sampled activities of the Purchase event, if its receiving the events parameters if all the above works, then you will have ROAS in Meta ADs.

I am not sure if i understand the question, If you are a non-shopify user, then make sure you have the GTM Container on the website.

i took transction id path from data layer event through console and then created a datalayer varialbe , is this the correct way?

The code is reporting inaccurate purchase value. It's not taking into account shipping info, and reporting only product value, not total order value.
If you want to push the total value, then you can use {{DLV ecommerce.value}}, and the variable we have {{EPG EI Value}} is the item revenue
