    I agree with with you. Van life is PERFECT for a single person. Two or more, it can get cramped.

    I think van life would be tricky for more than one person. An RV definitely is more couple friendly.

      We agree! For us, we could see ourselves traveling for short-term trips in a van, but full-time van life definitely wouldn't work for us. Thank you for your feedback and for watching! -Laurie & Matt

    Honestly, I love my creature comforts too much. RV looks so fucking comfortable. The vans are cool and can be impressive, but I love my instapot and airfryer. If I ever got to travel on the road like that I'd go with an RV too... Plus, RV feels more... secure? Locked up?

    • @whynotwander

      We love our Instant Pot and other small kitchen appliances, too! We truly feel like we're home in our RV, so you're right about the comforts! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Storm! -Laurie & Matt

    Vans are great for a balance between stealth and comfort (smaller vehicles being the most stealthy but also the most cramped). If stealth is not a requirement, RV's are as good as it gets for a home on wheels.

    I'm in total agreement with you on every point. Also, it's not a lifestyle one should choose unless you have the financial means to keep a rig on the road - and it does cost a lot. We always needed something done, and while my husband is a great mechanic, the parts can be expensive.. I couldn't imagine the cost if it had to go in the shop!

    My hubby and I aren't exactly small people, so I think a van would be too cramped for us, too. If we do this, I would get a small camper and tow it with my Jeep.

    Anyone interested in a Travel trailer or RV. Most important thing: Have the bed design so you can walk around 3 sides. Crawling around to do bedding gets tiring fast. And have a nice shower with elbow room. To stand back a little instead of face 4 " from showerhead.

      So you have 8 people sleeping with you every night,??? Otherwise who cares how many people are able to sleep in it at one time.?? Sounds like a lot of wasted space being used to “sleep 8 people” in a small area., do you really want 8 people in your rv at one time all night.,?? How will they be able to have sex with their partners without everyone else knowing.,?? Imagine trying to sleep and the couple next to you going at it for hours.?? I mean wow., 8 people at once.,??

      This is a common comment we receive, I get the misunderstanding. I did actually just Google it. I asked, "What is an RV?" This is what it says, "A recreational vehicle, often abbreviated as RV, is a motor vehicle or trailer that includes living quarters designed for accommodation." Thanks so much for watching!

    • @whynotwander
      @whynotwander  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, Edward! I guess it depends on what you're looking at for vans as far as being more expensive than an RV because our RV is actually MUCH cheaper than the cheapest van we've seen! Sure, we can't go off road and be isolated, but we're also not interested in that, so each person has to decide what their wants and needs are. We definitely agree about fuel. A van would be much cheaper as far as fuel goes. Thanks so much for watching and for sharing your thoughts! -Laurie & Matt
