My grandmother passed away 6 years ago from Alzheimer’s. Even when she had days where she couldn’t put together a coherent sentence, we could put on that Gospel cd and she would sing with it word for word. Such a beautiful memories. Music is the pathway to the soul. ❤

I hope you get to meet Alan Jackson or get a chance to go to his show. The older I get the more the more I love being in love with my wife. I'm 62 ,my wife is 65, we've been married 26 years and I can say I love her more everyday. Seeing smile fills my heart up with joy and hippieness. I could fill up the entire comment section about how I feel about her but I think you get the picture.
Alan Jackson is a country legend.... Saw him in concert in 2018 when he just released this song. Go see him in concert, you will not be disappointed.

I absolutely LOVE Alan Jackson! He just has that special something when he sings his voice, the lyrics, the way he delivers the song just all come together so perfectly it always hits me right in the feels so I totally get it girl. He always reminds me of my family members so I've nicknamed him Uncle Alan 😂. Saw him in concert and he's amazing! You need to check out Randy Travis though. He is another artist that has that special something. Try the songs "I told you so", " Three wooden crosses", and "Forever and ever Amen" just to start 😊

Alan is the country music legend of our time! He won 2 years in a row man of country! He writes not just 4 himself but others too! He can also spot talent & helps them be recognized! Such a wonderful reaction to such a great, inspirational song from the one and only AJ! You struck a chord with me Half when you mentioned Survivor's Guilt - I had a sister that was two and a half years younger than I am pass away from Cystic Fibrosis at the age of 34 (January 2009). She was diagnosed with the disease at the age of 5 when she was hospitalized for pneumonia while we were living in Hawaii (Dad was stationed there in the Army), and the average life span for a CF patient back then was only 13! Thankfully, the treatments and medications improved over the years so when she died the average was up to 31. She received a double lung transplant at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC which allowed her to be with us for five more years...God knows we still miss her each and every day!!! Peace & Love, Y'all.

I lost my oldest brother in 09" from a accidental overdose and lost my older sister from alcoholism June 8th of this year..
Me and my baby brother (who's an addict) are all that my Mom has left.
I still haven't heard from my baby brother in years. He never even reached out to me when our sister passed. I was the ONLY child my mom had by her side at my sisters Memorial.

So Alan played live from his new album at the time and out of nowhere he played the song Choices for George and walked off stage. I think it was a 1997 award show.
