It is very tasty fried , in Gujarat we make thepla, before U cut ‘em, when is rolled like Chapati, we cook ‘em on tawa both sides, then put oil or ghee on it & sauté w/ ghee both side until brown that is “Thepla” and most of the Gujaraties take Thepla in your w/ ‘em to eat as snacks w/ sweet mango achar, or use ‘em as breakfast for few days( by keeping’em in Roti Dabba. But fried w/ your porocess Mathai is more tasty & crispy! Thanks-Bhupen( Chicago, USA).
