Dude! You are just lovely! So full of knowledge, I just love this new kind of "reviews".. Fucking great work! Thanks so much for also mentioning Hank the tech, another just awesome human being! Again thank you! :)
Tom Englund you guys did an awesome job on this track. I LOVED Jonas' drumming. His drum tone is so beautiful and his rhythms for this track fit perfectly. Jonas is one of the greatest drummers in the world in my humble opinion. But your vocals are haunting. You guys get better with time. You guys have inspired so many musicians over the years. Oh and one more point I have to make is I love how powerful Jonas blast beats are for his band Death Destruction. His drumming is extremely consistent. But as I said all of you guys are so consistent as well. Keep up the awesome work!!
Outstanding!! Tom, I’ve been following your work and sharing it as often as possible! I shared your catalog with my son (he’s 35, I’m 60) and he’s digging your sound too! Love your voice, orchestration and guitar work! Keep the hits coming!!
This a great band! They are so overlooked! Tom Englund has a voice that touches such emotions. Evergrey should be a more popular band. Underrated is the word.
One of my favorite bands, but I actually think it's their weakest album. The lyrics are pretty generic. Just overall sounds very commercial. Very average. BUT all that being said I still enjoy it.
insanely baffling how underrated Evergrey are. amazing reaction, so knowledgeable and very pleasant to watch please please more Evergrey! i'd recommend The Beholder, Forever Outsider, A Silent Arc, Weightless, This Ocean, A Touch of Blessing, More Than Ever and Blinded to name a few.
Im so glad 'reviewers' and people in general finally gives this band some reconation. One of my all time favorite bands of all time. Traveled 3000 km to see them live in oslo. Just pure music. EVERGREY, I cant wait to see you live again! I cant wait to see more of your reactions! Hoppe you do more of this band.
You definitely have to check out more from them! I played their Recreation Day album to death back when I was 15-16 years old. Then I kinda fell off the wagon for some reason, probably because I started listening to more rock than metal. And then I pretty much rediscovered them when they released The Atlantic. Haven't looked back since. (Speaking of bass btw - I haven't heard a metal album before or since that one with such a ridiculously good mix for the bass tone) There isn't any other band that makes me feel all the emotions I do when listening to them than Nightwish. Except Evergrey. Tom's voice, Henrik's solos, fuckin' hell, all of it. You have a lot of catching up to do mate and I can't wait.
Oh wow! Amazing band to react to- first discovered them on solitude, dominance tragedy way back I was a sprout and spend many happy hours learning the guitar parts.
Brilliant reaction Chase!! Only found Evergrey when i saw Tank react to Eternal Nocturnal & was absolutely blown away. I feel like I've missed out on an incredible band for literally decades🤘🏻🍁🍂
Evergrey Saturday around the corner, perhaps? 😂 I wouldn't complain 😉 But anyway, yaaay 😍 Ever since discovering them in 2014 (thanks to Hannes 😄) with King of Errors, they're one of my favorite bands. You're in for a beautiful ride, my friend 😘 Enjoy every second of it, it's damn worth it 😄
Possibly my favourite Evergrey track. Only discovered them myself a couple of years ago but have made up for lost time with multiple CD and download purchases. Love the latest album too. And they are also super nice guys as I had the pleasure of meeting them 2 years ago before a gig in the UK. Got the selfie to prove it!!! Always look forward to new stuff from them.
THANK YOU so much for doing this! My reaction to this song was being completely overwhelmed and crying like a lost child. I loved hearing your comments on it. Thank you so much for this.
I was just listening to this song for the 20th time this morning. and you're so spot on about there's something about it that seems like it would get old quick or it's "simple" but NOT AT ALL. it's so catchy every single time i listen.
I agree so much ! I've discovered them live during a festival a few years ago and wow what a concert 🙂 I was so happy to be able to hear them for the first time live. Great memory for sure
Yeeeees ! Their last album is great ! We've been listening to it quite all the time since it came out with my 2 year old son who absolutely loves it !! Hope you enjoy this one and can't wait to hear what you think !
Excellent reaction Chase! One of my favorite bands! Can you also react to Pain Of Salvation? It's a progressive metal band and one of the most unique and underrated! Daniel Gildenlöw, the vocalist, is a genius and has an extraordinary voice! I recommend Iter Impius and Martius Nauticus II(Live). A truly wonderful performance!
Nice! Been waiting for you to do an Evergrey reaction!! Now you see what everyone was talking about!! Lots more Evergrey to check out Chase... Keep up the great work, and enjoy the journey... GET IN!
Great reaction!! Thank you for checking them out. Their becoming a favorite of mine. Love the atmosphere of the live chat, very family oriented and lively.

I’ve been requesting and waiting for this for a while! Hope you love them as much as I!! They have a fabulous catalog and wondering how you missed them with their connection to Floor and Nightwish!! You HAVE to hear IN ORBIT!! Followed by THE GRAND COLLAPSE!!
You have a lot of back catalogue to go through haha! I'd suggest Disconnect (featuring Floor Jansen), All I Have, Distance, Paradox of the flame and of course King of errors. The new album is also really good, you could check out some more songs from it.
Everyone always mentions In Orbit (because it has a video), but man, Disconnect is SO good with Floor, even if she's very subtle in it. Absolute rollercoaster of a song, very prog-y.
@@GraHammad Agreed, Disconnect is very underrated, and such a unique song, pretty much my favorite from them. And Floor's feature, however subtle it may be, just makes it even better.

I think that any song from the masterpiece that is "The Inner Circle" would be a nice choice for the next Evergrey reaction, but among those I may suggest "A touch of blessing" and, for something a little different (you will know it when you hear it), "When the walls go down". Enjoy!

Even though I think you once mentioned, that you aren't a huge fan of more extreme genres of metal, I'd _LOVE_ to hear your opinion on the band called *_Infant Annihilator!_* As song suggestion I'd go with "Three Bastards"
See? It's not only about Nightwish for me. These guys are great, Tom's voice reminds me a little of Chris Cornell. This is solid, Chord driven melody with a fog of guitars. I am sure somebody mentioned this but I will just in case. This song is like a sunday with the cherry on top being my favorite female, Dutch vocalist: th-cam.com/video/XKNg2dcO94k/w-d-xo.html Tom was also on her youtube channel where he talked about his experience helping fellow musicians deal with issues of burnout etc. th-cam.com/video/PRlHz42atiY/w-d-xo.html. Claudie52 out and take care, Chase.

When the walls go down
Even though I think you once mentioned, that you aren't a huge fan of more extreme genres of metal, I'd _LOVE_ to hear your opinion on the band called *_Infant Annihilator!_*
As song suggestion I'd go with "Three Bastards"
Would love to see you reach to Triddana - When the Enemy's Close
Yuzukingdom- eyes shut tightly
Germany is watching🤘🏻✌🏻
You should check out their song "In Orbit" you'll love it. Spoiler alert, it features Floor Jansen.
React to more from Halestorm, please! ♥
No Nightwish this Saturday?
Just full on with work so releasing videos that are done and will film again when I can.
Erra- Vanish Canvas Trust me
Amazing band. I don't think they could make a bad album if they tried to.
Wait, wheres the nightwish reaction? Its Saturday.
