  • Hey guys welcome to todays video where I want to go over some levels in Mario games that have completely been lost to time, or you just forgot because they dont really stick out in any way. Some of these are off the beaten path or secret, so you may have never seen or heard of them before!
I hope you like the video and if you do please like, comment and subscribe!

In Mario World, you need fly underneath the normal exit in order to get the secret exit to Soda Lake. You can also sacrifice your best friend Yoshi in order to get there to, but at what cost though.

I always enjoyed clearing the final gap in Chocolate Mountain 1 by taking a Yoshi through the cannon pipe, bouncing off the parakoopa, then ditching Yoshi. Death is part of every Yoshi's basic function.

Interesting choices. I appreciate that you shine some light on the NSMB series and pick out the highlights. It's easy to lump those games into one collective mass of "uninspired" but there's some great stages to be found in there if you go in with realistic expectations (NSMB2 is especially good for this and feels quite a bit like SMB3 at times but is often dismissed due to its coin collecting gimmick)

Oh my gosh, the SMW levels are some of my favorite ones! I so vividly remember getting to Star World that way on the GBA release

For Super Mario world, another forgotten level could be Chocolate Secret. It makes you skip the whole world and instead gives you an uninspired level.

So basically, almost none of these are levels the Mario community forgot. Instead, this list is mainly levels that YOU personally forgot about.

The first secret path in SMW you mentioned was ironically the one I would always take as a kid, rarely going back to complete the castle in the cave world.

i would add peepa’s fog bog and tyfoo flurries to this for 3d world. 2 more super fun late game levels that are never mentioned

Here's a level in Mario Galaxy that I forgot about until replaying it for its 15th anniversary: "Hurry, He's Hungry!" Found in the Sea Slide Galaxy, you have to feed a Hungry Luma 40 Star Bits, then use the cannon to get to a planet like the one in Hurry Scurry Galaxy. This time, instead of collecting a path of music notes as the ground disappears behind you, you have to collect a music note occupying each tile. I totally don't know why or how I forgot about it, but that's just me.

The New Super Mario Bros. series has a lot of amazing levels that people need to pay more attention to. They’re all well designed and have a lot of creatives ideas. I hope we get another NSMB game in the future.

6:30 Years ago, before the Nintendo Switch came out, I actually got this exit using a cape ONCE. It was insanely hard. Then I read somewhere that you can just use Yoshi to bounce off the saws and then jump off of him at the end. That way is SO much easier, especially if you also have the cape so that you can float down slowly, and I haven't looked back since.

The Super Mario E-Reader levels are highly forgotten about… or just not known by many.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 has a high chance to get a switch remake/remaster next year due to the end of the current switch life cycle

You should've added in or clarified a rule stating you are only including newly added levels in regards to remakes and remasters.
Even then, you forgot about Super Mario 64 DS!

Sunshine is a fun game but I never finished the final level. Get to the boat on lava and can never make it across without capsizing.

Honestly, Super Mario 64 has some of the most memorable levels in this entire series.

This list is supposed to be about forgotten levels, yet with Super Mario Land's world 4-2, you mention ALWAYS being shocked at the sudden jump up in difficulty. Not really forgotten, now is it?

I always just used Yoshi to get to the secret level in Mario World. It’s even easier if you use a blue yoshi.

How did you forget about Galaxy 2's Twisty Trials?! It's based on one of the most infamous Super Mario Sunshine secret levels (which itself shows how broken Sunshine's physics can be).
There's even a harder version of it in Galaxy 2 where the blocks spin even faster; rivaling the one in Sunshine in terms of difficulty. While it's possible to do the harder version without Yoshi, it's really recommended for most players to be riding Yoshi as much as possible.
