That middle section of You Made Me Realise would sometimes go on for 20 minutes at live shows, apparently the volume levels were akin to being 100m from a jet taking off. For 20 minutes.
I’m here to defend Glider…you heard the truncated version that is the most well known, however there is a longer rarer version (over ten minutes) where yes, it’s pretty much the same riff however it starts in a ‘different’ place and evolves. Kinda cool but I can understand why someone wouldn’t like it
IMO, Slow is easily the best track from the EPs, and I think You Made Me Realise, while good, is a bit overrated, I definitely don't love it as much as Pitchfork and others do
@@returns8108 Am I a madman for thinking Drive It All Over Me is a bit overrated? I don’t know, maybe it’ll be a grower, but it doesn’t seem to posses anything that other more straightforward indie pop MBV tracks don’t.

Omg I love MVB EPs especially this compilation! So glad you do this, I can't wait to watch your review !
'Drive it all over me' might be a bit normal in style, but its melody is so amazing, thats why people love it.

@@jameslocopo4742 Is it a different version from the longer version later in this comp?
There is an extra layer of guitar on the album version of Soon to try and make it fit in with the rest of the album.
And then the M.B.V purple album ;-) (not Loveless)
It's on the schedule after this EP's compilation!

@@AlexHaitz No I agree it is a lesser track for me too. Just sounds like their attempt at a catchy pop song.
