Slafkovsky is a stud
Funny to think we thought he wasn't
@@sophieleblanc9985I never gave up on him. Silly to label someone a bust when they haven’t played a lot in the NHL
Zibanejad's saucer to Kreider was nasty.
Man as a habs fan, those rangers games are the best. Obviously we are not mature enough for a playoff round against them. They are contenders right now, but i do love a good offensive game with skills. I hope ny maintain that dominance in the league so we can maybe face them in the playoffs in a couple of years.
Jake Allen feels your pain, Montembeault.
He had at least two goals- on his conscientiously!...
As long as that first line is producing I’m fine with any result. My god those guys are incredible, and still only in their early 20’s. With how many young d-men the habs have I think the rebuild is going to be a quick one.
Yeah I think Slaf is 19!!
Now with Monahan gone Montreal can tank properly 😂
Oh my Goddess, girl, it's so true.
We still need 1-2 middle 6 wingers to help out and we should be in a good spot.
The rebuild will take time. They have so much dead weight on this team and their dmen need a lot more time.
They need four working lines. No floaters.
Kaapo’s individual effort with the puck. His possession, stick handling, vision. He has the pieces to be an incredible playmaker. Just needs the confidence. We’d be wise to keep him on board. Especially in a few years when our young core take the top lines. He and Laffy on the same line consistently along with the power play could be incredible. A dynamic duo in the making if drury wants to put in the effort.
Drury needs to trade somebody for Grinders and Kaako is a good candidate.
Will Cuylle continues to impress me. Didn't have high hopes for his production, but he's been a strong 2-way player and the pucks are starting to drop for him. He has grit, always driving the puck, getting to the front, giving the extra effort until the whistle blows. Underrated rookie who's playing a veteran bottom-liner role for this team. Stats don't show it all, but I love what he's doing for this team.
Totally agree, he’s been very underrated. He plays a hard fiesty game, and he’s been big physical presence for them this year. Definitely some skillful elements to his game as well. That line seems to have something
NY's redirection game is insane! Quite remarkable.
Feel nice that the habs first line kicking asses despite the loss. Pretty great overall.
An advantage in expected goals for the Habs is seen as a positive for tonight's match. Slafkovsky's clicking like always, Hughes made a good decision taking him over Shane Wright. The Caps on Saturday at the Bell Centre.
Slaf was the Wright pick!
Turning 1st round bust Lias Andersson into Wil Cuylle was one of Jeff Gorton's underappreciated trade steals.
Yeah i love these rangers habs games, its like looking at "what gorton has built" vs "his new pet project"
Eh he did make the worst trade in franchise history giving up JT Miller and former Canadien Ryan McDonagh for nothing. That alone is worthy of being fired! Not many of his picks have worked out. Panarin and Fox signed with the Rangers because that is the only place they wanted to play! Hopefully he hits on more of his draft picks with Montreal.
@@HarrisonHollers I totally agree, I'm no big defender of Gorton, Drury is doing a much better job in my opinion.
Gorton made some bad trades, but he also had some amazing steals. Strome for Spooner, the Rick Nash trade that nabbed not only a 1st but also Ryan Lindgren and of course Mika & a 2nd for Brassard and a 7th. Absolute robbery of Ottawa.
Honestly I think Kakko would do well if he just had more confidence. That goal was pure skill. Lavi needs to find a way to energize him because his body language says it all.
kind of an unwritten rule. Don’t celly on a 7-3 goal in a regular season game.
He did good, but in the end, it was really just a weak goal allowed by the goalie. Still, he did the work to get to that spot!
Передача зибонежада на заглядение 👍
The timing, velocity and precision... perfection!
Мастерюга!
Allen 7 Goals, now Monty 😅
When you score four goals, it should be for the win.
Except when tanking
Could be worse. You could've only scored 2 when giving up 9 like Nashville did last night.
Honestly 4 goals against a top contender is nice… we literally have all young players and almost zero veterans and no top names lol supposed to be tanking for future benefits. Our best top NHLer veteran forward is the coach! Jk obviously but kinda not
Крайдер как теннисист, все шайбы слета ловит
We just straight up win when Kakko plays man. If only we had Chytil.... imo Chytil was/is the best out of Laf/Kakko and him but such a shame with his injuries
He was making the most improvements but he’s also been in the league a little bit longer and he had way less expectations than the two
Chytil is good, but soft. Needs to work out more, build some muscle.
yes sir savard screens montabeau again twice
i know it feels a bit conflicting, but it's the perfect results for the habs. They get some great performance from the players that will be part of the core for a very different looking team in a few years, AND we get closer to a top 5 pick as was the plan by trading Mona so early (instead of risking the wait to max the returns for him). Zero dead cap for 2 first round picks - that whole trading sequence is insane.
Sad to see him go but he was such an important player that it's the difference between ending inside the top 5 or outside the top 10, no joke.
So hard fought losses where you see key players producing are probably the best thing we can hope for! Now with the worst center depth in the league, I think it's time to lose :P
Hopefully we can trade a few additional contracts before the TDL, if only to gives their spots to others and cap dump for the offseason. Like Allen somehow and ONE or two Ds.
Zibanajed feeding Kreider with his best goals this season
Hope Wheeler is ok
Классный навес Зибы на Крейдера на дальнюю.... Жалко Тема не забил
Ok, let’s agree that a full team pre-game dinner of tryptophan-ladened Turkey is not a good idea. Going forward it’s yogurt and bourbon.
And that’s the real habs we know and love😊 thank you for playing those tiny forwards😊
like to watch Quick's emotions after the Wild scored
1979 NHL Stanley Cup Final rematch
I know rags are shopping kakko, but I hope he picks up some more momentum with culle and brodzinski. Kid needs a big boost of confidence and it appears the 4th line time is good for him.
I don’t think they are shopping him
They're not shopping him. Those rumors are made up for clicks. They're shopping some of their AHL depth and picks for an RW or C.
Yes they are. He's underperformed since he got here.@@setlaxsoccer77
Really? You think the Rangers can get anything good for AHL players? They need Grinders and Kaako is a good trade prospect.Hopefully he plays even better.@@Golden_God_Untethered

Quick kept the Canadians out of that game with some great saves.
@@TC-dw6wgCanadians are respected in Russia
Quick needs to play more games!!!! They can't expact ,that he will be every 4th game in the net ,with an av of goal per game.
Keep your eye on Slofkosky, great hands.
zibby has gotta be one of the best passers in the league
Monty was asleep in that game
It’s ok. Happens to the best goalies too
I was at the game and the pucks were flying past him. Good goalie, but better shooting last night. LGR! 😂
Such a good game for both clubs
The MTL defenseman is still looking for his jock strap after Kaako put that move on him.
Habs defence is still hard to watch. Let rangers just hangout in front of the net but at least the offence did beautiful things. Rangers played a great all around game.
Montreal plays without a Goalkeeper?
Панарин 🔥
Рейнджерс хорошая разминка перед плей-офф 👍😉❗️🍀😎🤝
They looked flat (no speed) at certain times last time, like the 1st period. I was at the game and it was a blast with all the goals the Rangers scored. Unfortunately they gave up a couple of easy goals. Quick letting 4 goals in is not good going forward for playoffs, but he is having a great season. LGR!
@@TC-dw6wg🤝❗️😎🍀 Рейнджерс ❤️🔥🔝 Панара 🔝🦾✊
Chris Kreider and the New York Rangers win over Cole Caufield and the Montreal Canadiens 7-4 🏒🔵🔴⚪🗽
New York Rangers improve to 35-16-3, while the Montreal Canadiens dropped to 22-24-8
The nhl virtual advertising on the ice has gotten out of control!!! What next?! The playing surface becomes a quarter pounder with cheese?!!! Gtfooh
How about a Canucks vs Rangers Stanley Cup Final.
It'd be 1994 all over again.
Rangers!
and one more thing... quick .. the goalie much better lately than Igor Sh. .. and shhhh to colombia. i am fast enough.
Вот это и есть современный хоккей, вроде бы есть у самого хорошая позиция для броска. А нет делают передачу на партнёров и как правило гол 🎉🎉🎉
Very nice hockey!!! Oh Yeah!
Two more years...they'll be ready for play-off finals.
After our first line..
Things get ugly ...
Haven't watched many Ranger games this season huh kevin?
Наконец то Крайдер с Зибанеджадом заиграли.
Zibanejad was still struggling at times. I was at this game and some easy plays he was just missing. Unlike Ziban normally. Glad he got a goal, but just looked a little off.Kreider looked like his normal self! LGR!
Why no hats for Kris Kreider.
They were hats thrown onto ice.
Огонь🎉😢
защита дыра у рейнджерс :(
Defense and Montembeault…. How disappointing…
So how does that work? The Rangers' 4th goal looked to me like a high stick (above the crossbar). Was Mtl unable to challenge because of the non-goalie-interference call on the previous goal? Incidentally, I don't understand how a skater can have his stick actually *in* the net right behind the goalie's skate and it's not interference. And yes, I get that the puck went in the other side of the net, but still. Maybe there needs to be a middle ground where the refs don't penalize a team when a challenge is 'iffy'. I like how in pro football, all scoring plays get reviewed automatically - cuz hockey refs obviously have zero prob calling back goals for marginal offsides that occurred minutes earlier. Conversely, when intentional goalie interference DOES occur, it should be an automatic 2-min minor - just like when you hold up a skater who doesn't have the puck.
Kovacevic is painful to watch
Набросы - набросы. Крайдер - герой🤘
Финал тампа и городцы. Но Панара их добьет

And who's going to the Playoffs this year and who's constantly Rebuilding?@@joydjinn8692

Ooof goaltending ate sh!t tonight lol makes an exciting game though! 4 goals against a top team and habs are in total rebuild… they are supposed to be tanking lol

Montembeault is GOOD
Even the best goalies have nights off lol
poor habs cant keep a lead or get a win LOL
poor YM can't dry mine clean or ki$$ my A$$ LOL
Was a diehard Ranger fan in the 80s and early 90s. I don’t remember that obnoxious chant after Ranger goals. They should retire it.
What? How is it obnoxious? Name a team that has a better chant.
First off it’s one of the best goal songs in the NHL and they didn’t start it until around 1999. Also don’t call yourself a former diehard fan if your no longer a fan of the team.
@@davidlarsen-tj4tn Tell him David! 😅
Habs fan here. I don't mind Rangers fan having their little chant. How many Cups have they won? Two? Three? Meanwhile we have TWO DOZEN and 2-3 more coming in the next decade.
Rangers last cup is more recent than the Habs. And they have 4 cups. Montreal's cups were mostly when the league had unfair draft rules so who cares.
Qu'est-ce qu'on attend pour échanger l'entraineur St-Louis et les trois pas bons gardiens ???

No goaltender interference is mind boggling. Clearly couldnt extend his leg because his skates were there. So stupid 🤦
