      There are still so many Aztec structures underneath Mexico City; the Spanish built the city on top of Tenochtitlan - the Aztec capital. I had the fortune to actually work on Templo Mayor in 1982 when I was a student at UNAM - my archeology professor, Elizabeth Baquedano was well connected to Eduardo Matos Moctezuma, who was in charge of the project at the time.

    The Portuguese destroyed our ancient city and reused its rubble to construct their fort on the same ground. Must be a weird fetish for these historical conquerors

      They did the same in many African countries, what they do is destroy ancient sites and rebuild them in their own way, making it look like they were the ones that built it.

    They buried our temples, imposed religion and language. But they NEVER subjugated our identity, our flag is proof of that. You can ask any Mexican, we are PROUD of our Aztec (correct name would be Mexica) ancestors and we honor heritage. By the way, Mexico's correct nahua name is pronounced Meshico.

    In Hinduism, the Ancient pre Vedic God of War, Wind, Thunder and Rain is one God - Lord Indra. He is also God of the Two Worlds, Heaven and Earth, and rules over the city of God and his Angels in Heaven. There is increasing evidence of Hindu practices in Aztec and Mayan cultures.

      If that is true does that hint to a possible connection between these two practicing groups? Maybe perhaps the world was like it is today many many years ago a huge connect groups of people with their own version of the ancient internet. Something happened that caused the fracture of this previous civilization but religion is hard to destroy and so these two groups continue practicing it to remember what once was.

    Mestizos are not full blood pure Native American Aztecs or Mayans. We pure Mongoloid Native Americans do not recognize you as Native Americans and never will recognize you as Native Americans. Will you mixed race Mestizos quit pretending you are Aztecs and Mayans when you are not it is disrespectful, immature and annoying.

    • @jasonbourne1045
      @jasonbourne1045 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Evera Outta Race mixing destroys diversity, If we all mix we are all the same then there will be no diversity. Your upper middle class misguided materialistic abstract principles you get from living in your suburban bubble supported by your parents do not concern us full Mongoloid Native Americans who have suffered the most from the mass immigration of the dumbest uneducated undesirable dregs of Europe supported by slave masses and bitter vassal city states of the Meso American and Andean Native American empires. A true ethnic nation is made of a common people from a common race with a common language. If the Japanese were replaced by African Somalis even If the Somalis learned Japanese, spoke Japanese, dressed/ acted they genotypically nor phenotypically would not be Japanese.

      Cause there was basically nothing for Europeans to see or conquer where you're from. What are you, a tribal native from the US or canada wilderness? lol Tell me what civilization you built.

    • @TheyHurry
      @TheyHurry 6 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Yeah cause some dumbass with the last name Bourne is definitely pure native🙄 Get real you loser not all Mexicans are Mestizo, 20% are pure blood natives many of whom still speak their ancestral languages, even then a Mestizo is miles more authentic then what they consider Native American in the US where blue eyed people with blonde hair are dancing with headdresses😂

    • @flipayyy7584
      @flipayyy7584 6 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Mexicans should still be proud of their native heritage. After all, most Mexicans still carry Native traits (brown skin complexion, black hair) because Europeans have weak recessive genes. Does it look like us Mexicans come from a Norwegian fishing village or Tenochtitlan?

    • @groggle_noggle3348
      @groggle_noggle3348 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mestizos are random when it comes to heritage. Though it’s one term, you can get white looking people who are 70% or more Native or Native looking people who are less Native. We are all tied to a Native past whether you like it or not.
