It’s impressive seeing a lot of the drivers in this video correct themselves and avoid crashing! Even though they find themselves in a bad situation they have tremendous skill to avoid danger. A lot of the cars in the videos are a lot to handle too!

Believe it or not the active aero on supermodified racecars works very similarly. they use gas shocks and when enough air flows over them they flatten out and create less drag.

While a lot of these guys are idiots... I still appreciate that some of the rich guys have balls to push their expensive cars instead of leaving them in a garage all the time.

A rich dude fixes a car when he crashes or use one of his other cars. The 9 to 5 guy with a average income, rent/mortgage and 2 kids to maintain and still drives his daily beater on the track.. he is the one with "balls"
The ones with the nice car can't drive for shit though. Homeboys with their old ass Jettas and Civics are much better
@@SOPHOCLESIFY i only commented that because i have a nice car i use for track days. Im quite well off and i did multiple driving courses and i drive amateur rally here in Italy so im not a expert whatsoever but i would never drive my daily driver hard on a track.

What was that, 1500 gas with vertical pipes (dual exhaust bumper)? Ecodiesel have dual exhaust, but no one would bother doing such exhaust pipes for little 3L diesel
looks like a normal day driving on national roads in Romania, so accurate down to the high number of BMW and vans that fly by you

@@borkingdoggouwuuwuw there is no bike currently front wheel drive, only prototypes, when he rolled on the throttle the rear completely lost grip, almost sending him into a highside. Highside is where the rear slips and it jolts you like a horse hahah

Mustangs and Corvettes. It's like American engineers never thought anybody would want to turn.
@@texaswunderkind Corvettes all have limited slip differentials now, not solid rear axles like these Mustang GTs, and especially the ones from the last 20 years handle well. They have set many track records on the Nürburgring. I think you are thinking of mustangs and camaros.

I am always entertained by seeing so many drivers who have way more bravado than skill, and how they get into trouble because of it. Case in point, the C7 driver at 2:25 showing a complete lack of understanding of what to do when exceeding the track limits, and then driving over kerbs, with resultant damage to front and undertray.
Well said. As a C7 owner I watch these videos and recall the outcome when ever I get the urge to be silly. So far so good……

You can definitely tell who has skill enough to be driving some of these cars to the limit. As for the others practice does help.

A lot of people went there to drift😅. And they know what they’re doing👍.

I know having an accident on the ring can result in some stiff fines/fees but are there any penalties associated with going off and spraying the gravel all over the track?
I don't think so because gravel is used especially to avoid bad consequences of any mistake. No damage = no fine.
@@oliverbentley8125 that's what I wasn't sure about. On the one hand, it prevents a massive crash but on the other hand gravel on the track can be a hazard, imagine taking a rock through the windshield at 100+ mph, or worse yet think about a biker. It also seems like a lot of work for the staff to clean up.
