Glad to have you back amigo. One massive misconception out there... our job as a light tank is not to sacrifice our entire hp pool to spot the entire enemy team so ours can camp at the back. If someone rages at you to do so, kindly tell them to bugger off.
Of course, there are exceptions at the rule: first at all, when u started a battle u must visualise (depending from the kind of enemy tanks) where they'll move, if no light or med tanks obviously u can rush; second, u are driving tanks not a Damm Kamikaze, at least as a light tank u can run and pull back if u need it, move around or cross to mid map, as a light tank u have at least 260m of detection and 292m with full equipment. Finally and most important, wach the map and be careful with TDs.
From my point of view, light tanks must play in the must aggressive form, it's not just about Spott, U can ambush, flank, hide, push when is need, pull back; be creative guy's :) gettings and o7

Good to have you back! Can I make a recommendation? Get a light set up for your face (you don't want us to mistake your potato mug for Peter Dutton in the dark). Also angle the device you're looking at set up in such a way that you're looking at the camera a bit more. Quickybaby's channel is a great example of how to do it and it doesn't have to be expensive.
Wow your slalom skier strategy really does the trick. There's only 7 players in blitz so it's even easier to keep count and plot a deadly course. ..realized I've been playing lights like a medium/heavy this entire time.
