For the save stuff PS5 users will be f because the save are only kept in the console or the PSN plus cloud. Sony decided to remove the usb backup. I would say to incentivize users for getting plus which f sucks. I have OS5 and that’s how it works. For Xbox I believe is the same case but the users get free cloud backup for the save if I’m not mistaken. After the 360 I believe they remove the YSB backup as well. This restoration is kinda more for OC users which have access to theirs save data.
I think the PvP is potentially better than all the souls games PvP WHEN ITS NOT laggy af, the fights can be insanely good when the connections are clean
The vestiges missing doesn't really make it more challenging. It definitely makes it more boring and annoying. I don't want to run for a half hour to back somewhere I need to go.

I'm a little pissed bc as soon as I get the balls to NG+ without vestiges...boom vestiges...hopefully I can do it for my next ng+
