  • ORP can be a super intimidating track for your first trackday (it was for me). I hope this video will give you an advantage as a new rider going out for your first time at this track. Lots of elevation changes, blind corners, and off camper curves -- but once you get the hang of it, the track is a blast!

Worth noting on turn 14, its off camber and the way they paved ORP caused me to come over the paving line in the middle of the track and have my rear end try to step out multiple times. The paving lines are an issue through out the whole track but especially when you’re dealing with that off camber turn it’s a hazard you’re really going to want to pay attention to. Great guide tho glad to see someone finally put one together!

Good call on that corner. I too stepped out in an earlier session in that corner as I was picking up speed.

That track looks dope! Thanks for this! Gonna have to try to make it down once this year for that.

2-Fast has a few two day events this season. They reverse the track direction on the second day!

Such a fun track. I was out there last weekend myself for the first time on my R3 and had a great time. I was still giving it a dab of front going into 7 most of the time since that turn in point going into 8 is completely blind. Also interesting to see the comparison of where you're braking as I could brake much later with such a smaller bike. But that track absolutely has a learning curve like you said and I know I definitely have more to learn there. Great time for sure.

We were pitted right across from you! My wife chatted with your dad for little bit. I would have totally preferred a bike like yours for that track, much more fun. Hope to see you out there again!

I meant to come over and say hi during the day but got kind of caught up in everything! I'll be for sure going back. There's one July 20th with 2Fast I'm going to book here shortly, come on back out!

Just scary to try and go fast there anymote on a big bike rspecially with my race suspension. This was my first track days here eith motofit back in the day and i really liked it especially it only being like an hour and forty five minutes away. So much blind you just gotta know where youre going before you start hammering it.

It would definitely be a lot more fun on a Ninja 400 or some other small bike.
