can you advise me the location for proximity sensor, will audio jack replacemnt will replace the sensor as well? or it will be a part of volume and other buttons flex cable?

Hello , Sony xperia z5 compact The back cover is cracked and water damaged the phone , I waited some days , then now everything is working in the phone , screen touch also working , the only problem is the light of screen ( brightness ) is bad , you can only see in dark or when you turn off the light . How can I fix this problem ? Is it in the screen or the board ? Please help .

I replaced the screen, phone turns on ok but the screen is blank - any ideas?

Checked connecter and seems to be in as far as I can get it, same issue. What is the display IC?
it means the U1501 IC is faulty or/and filters/capacitors/resistors which are responsible for displaying image are faulty. John Parton
Any way to test this / fix this or find out what the problem is?
