Indigenous People everywhere have always known how to love our Mother properly. Where are the Indigenous voices in this docu? Europe and Asia started the world destruction problem with 'industry.' But Native Americans and other Indigenous nations have traditionally practiced the solution to our current problem.

I have been writing on climate change and global warming since 1997 when I attended a course on environment in Karachi conducted by Paul Brown, the then London correspondent of The Guardian newspaper. The course was held under the aegis of Commonwealth Journalists Association led by SM Fazal, editor Daily News, Jang Group's evening newspaper and Hamdan Amjad Ali. Paul Brown is now retired and write books and conduct workshops. He continues to send me his books. He is an authority on climate change and global warming. I have also free lanced for The Guardian newspaper and Down to Earth, India. I am in touch with my friends in London, Moscow, Washington and India and not going anywhere. I love my port city of Karachi, the financial hub of Pakistan. Everybody knows me here. I am now working on three books. My first book, "khuab ley lo khuab " (Take Away my Dreams), based on my memoirs, was received well and is now out of print. After working for over 10 years in The News International, Karachi as Special Correspondent, Special Projects-II I have resigned from The News. I am now Pakistan Correspondent of International News Service, a low-profile financial wire service, based in London.

Greenhouse gases may bring on a next ice age in short term: the geologist should know that there is a model in which Greenland icemelt leads to a critical level of desalination of the Gulf Stream between Greenland and Newfoundland that interrupts the deep ocean cooling circuit. The deep ocean cooling circuit keeps the globe more even in temperature; when it stops, a sudden ice age will occur as cold water is isolated at the poles. This has been proven out in Greenland ice cores - that there have been several sudden onset ice ages that happened in just two lifetimes, and were preceded by high levels of CO2 (in the core air bubbles).

I'm only halfway through watching this, but it occurs to me how cool it would be if someone would create a video compilation of how human activity has modified our planet from early agriculture thru the current mining, deforestation, etc. In discussing climate change, I find many people really don't have any idea how seriously destructive humans are. Of course, the planet will be just fine. We are kind of an acute infection. She could shake us off and move on.
I love VPRO videos. I finally found a presentation of information that seems to me to be assembled in the most objective manner possible. With it being very difficult to find current information without attitude and bias, this is truly refreshing. Thank you, VPRO.

the subject of "Geo Engineering". Are you up for the challenge? To report on the single most horrific and toxic
technology. Ever developed and unleashed across the entire Global Human Population?????
This technology used globally is the single largest "Anthropocentric" generating project ever undertaken by Man.
This technology is a Global scale "Slow Kill" on Steroids. The balls in your court.

Liquid Nitrogen released into the atmosphere might get the wind assistance to mitigate global temperature rise. Mother Nature is running a fever. That we think we can address it is positive. Alot more metro riding instead of cars and it looks like airline service is going to have to significantly decrease, IMO. Would a 32-hour work week lessen or increase green-house gases? If so, then the base monetary 'allowance' might serve as a model to reduce the work-week, thereby production & consumption. Conjecture. And, the capitalist model of more, more, & still more might have to be revisited.
