For those of you who are taking the SAT tomorrow, I wish you the best of lucks! Edit: So, how did it go? I think I did pretty good. For me, the math section with calculator was by far the easiest and the reading section was the hardest. Was it the same for you?
1. Start Early (Just go back in time to start grinding practice tests during 2nd grade recess. Easy 1600) 2. Practice Reading (Read daily. Include novels, articles, and short stories. May include scrolling Reddit) 3. Practice w/ Real Material (Use Khan Academy's practice tests! Applerouth is also good) 4. Hone Your Approach (mark the text! leave hard questions for the end!) 5. Learn the Personality of the Test (information must be as explicitly stated as possible!) 6. Pace Yourself (AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA) 7. Build Your Vocabulary (read books on building vocab/ read books with more complex wording and don't be afraid to google define words)
Lennon Johnson I scored an 1150 my first time with no studying.. this time I need to get at least a 1200 to be able to almost guarantee me admission for my top schools
I appreciate that you post these videos before every SAT test date but as an international tester who's in a different time zone, I ask you to consider posting these videos a few hours earlier, because I only got to see this until after the exam. But major shout out to you, my exam felt like it went well and I owe it a lot to people like you who make strategies and tips more available. Thank you❤️

My school day SAT in March was a 940 (or 980 it's been a while that it was either one of those two) and I have been studying on and off. Whenever I get the random feeling to study or have some time to during the summer (taken 3 classes over the summer through FLVS- Online Classes) and a little during the start of the School year in August. Should I have study more? I could have, but I'm just praying that I stay awake and can answer the questions correctly within the time limit

I'm taking the SAT on Nov. 1st and I'm terrified. I'm a Highschool Senior, and no one told me about it when I was a freshman, so now I'm struggling to re-learn material in time for the test
ModTheGodOfGoats you can do it!!! I’m a junior and I scored a 850 on the first try. I was disappointed with myself but I had many people tell me to keep my chin up. I’ve been told to use khan academy and to use the 2019 sat college board book.

Yeah it was tough. I never had an sat reading like that in my life and trust me I did a lot. Man we are just not lucky. To me it’s even more frustrating cuz I chose to redo my sat JUST to improve my reading score. Now I know for sure that 6 months of work are gone. I felt sad at first too but you are not alone everyone messed up today on the reading section. Go over to Reddit and look for SAT subreddit and you will find that everyone did bad. Let’s hope that the curve is reasonable.🙂
I feel like SAT Math Sections (without Calculator) was the hardest for me. Not sure if it's the same questions and all that for everyone but Reading to me in the beginning the topics were actually not as boring as there usually are, so I was wide wake and doing them, but ran out of time when I got to the later half of the Reading Section. Grammar at first looks to be okay for me, but I always miss up on punctuations like ; or : or , and 2nd guessed myself and ran out of time again. SAT Math (No Calculator), I'm not sure if I went brain dead or what, but the questions look so foreign to me that I didn't know what to do so I christmas tree it and put random numbers for my fill in the blank cause I didn't know what I was doing or how to do them at all. SAT Math (with Calculator) was easier but still challenging cause that particular sections had concepts that I haven't seen in a forever and forgot how or what to solve with what but some of the Fill in the Blank questions was a joke (not sure if it was supposed to be a multiple choice question or not but then at the last minute, College board changed it or something cause it was very easy to solve, at least I hope so, and I didn't get happy for nothing lol) and I finish that section (FIB) faster than I normally done in the past (PSAT & SAT respectively, haven't taken ACT yet so dk about how FIB questions work)
The reading section was really hard, I’ve never had much of a problem with time on the reading section as I did today, and overall, I found it pretty difficult

Now that I'm watching this I am not sure if I can take the sat in a monthe or I have to wait for spring tests. I have one question though, how the offered tips apply if I have around five or six month to the real test? Should I read offered materials or just practice with sample questions?

Guys I didnt wanna brag at all but I just took the October 5th sat as a sophomore and this was my first try. I got a 1560 and im so proud of it I feel like telling everyone. I just wanted to share my happiness and pride and scream it out a bit and not to brag at all.
@@loepesci5996 ah better luck next time :) I highly recommend Erica Meltzer for writing and reading (do take notes tho otherwise u wont be able to retain any of the information). they are slightly expensive but I wouldn't have been able to do writing without her ( you can still do without reading). for math I used PWN the sat guide and again I highly recommend it its a very fun book to make your way through. remember though your 1460 isn't a bad score at all and the right kind of prep and you can go way higher. also my section score was 770 Ebrw and 790 math

Hey Guys Back Again, I just took the October 5th SAT (No Essay) a week and half ago and waiting until October 18th for the multiple choice to be released. It don't matter if its just your Multi Choice Score or your Essay or Subjects, if you feel comfortable, put down your score down below so we can either celebrate your sucess, cry about it or give some feedback on how you feel taking it in October or any past/future SATs. In two more days I'm about to find out and I'm literally stressing about them.

They’re playing the long game. They can take it October, December, and March and be done. They may have looked at their calendar and seen that they have 4 AP exams in May and finals week in June. You don’t need an extra year of education to take this test and a lot of juniors start too late.
