Dog Park James, a young adult was walking his dog at the same time I was walking Sophie and Stanley. We started talking and Glory to God we were able to share our love of Jesus at the Dog Park. God is everywhere. He shared his testimony. He goes to Church. His parents are also believers. Our acquaintance lasted one day but it was a gift from God. I feel like I’m missing out on the teen experience not having good, fun friends, I’m 15 about to be 16 soon. They’re either worldly, or just Christian but judge mental and full of drama. I’ve always said I’ve hated people because of my bad experiences with friends, or my own family. My own family isn’t a good representation of Christians. I’ve become protective of myself, I’ve now too afraid to show affection, afraid of rejection. I just want ONE best friend. Just one. That’s it.

This is a pain point for me. I've always been a "goodie 2 shoes" and never really was average. It's hard to find friends who don't make me backslide or pretend to be someone I'm not just to get along. Lord, I'm struggling because I only have 1 real long-term friend, and he's not as far along in his walk as I am. I often feel lonely and depressed and generally end up doing things alone.
