    I remember when this movie came out, but I didn’t see it until about 4 days ago, it instantly became a classic to me and one of my top 5 favorite films.

    1 of 3 films I've recommended to my mom, and she's actually enjoyed. One of my favorite of all time movies, I'm getting it on DVD so that if society ever collapses I can still watch it.
    It's crazy that this channel never took off.

    There must've been a ton of research that went into this project, very impressive. Felt like I was watching a behind the scenes bonus feature or something. Look forward to more content! Pans Labyrinth, Minority Report, or Moulin Rouge are some films that come to mind that I'd love to see covered!

      Thank you so much! We did do quite a lot of digging...Wes Anderson's movies always have so much going on that we didn't want to do it an injustice...and we still didn't cover everything! Those are all great suggestions and really appreciated! Minority Report is one of our favorite action films and a great one to cover! Thank you again!

    Speaking about Soviet Era elements and you don't want to remain there for very long it is really the matter of taste to be honest. I really like Soviet Era style both exteriors and interiors. And some things I like even more than from 17-20th centuries Imperial styles

    • @CineStructure
      @CineStructure  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Being in the architecture field, I 1000% know what you mean! Personally, I adore Soviet-era design and architecture, brutalism…all of those styles that have almost a bleakness or coldness to them. The comment was definitely in the more general sense…I hear constantly from people that those styles make them uncomfortable. But definitely agree…it’s all personal opinion. ☺️👍🏻

    Is this narrated by a real person or AI? The name Goerlitz doesn’t sound like “gohr-lits” (rhyming with “poor-lits) but more like “girl-lits. The museum, pronounced here like “cunts museum” is really like the double “o” in English as in “books.” It’s like starting to say “could.” Just take off the “d” of “could” and add the last part of “angst”. “Kunst” in German means art. It hurts to hear it pronounced like the British slang, “cunt.”

    • @CineStructure
      @CineStructure  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s narrated by me, an actual human. We’ve learned a lot of lessons since this video about better researching pronunciations of places (we did research a lot of these but clearly found some bad info). I appreciate the corrections on pronunciation 👍🏻
      Unfortunately, once a video is up, there is little that can be done in the way of edits. So we’ll just have to live with the imperfection (which I’m good with, as an imperfect human) and do better in the future. 👍🏻

      @@CineStructure I'm a 1:12 dollhouse collector. Many important pieces. But it's what is conveyed that's important to me
      I've done a gorgeous modern kitchen but with a doll with her head in the oven
      Have plans to do The Man Who fell to Earth (collected miniature TVs for 30 years) and mapping out The Evil Dead shack (original of course,) recreation of The Colby Room at the Museum of Science Boston I've had to make my own fimo elephant foot umbrella stands, masaii shields, colobus monkey pelts.
      This is my passion. With Entomology, 1870s Victorian literature and criminal justice reform. But my heart lies thinking of the realistic recreation of reality. Scuffed and dirty floors..do pee on a carpet
      I embrace drones. I think they've added So much. But an Epic film... star wars used models filmed backyards.
      I can see the break where the set and cgi is. It jars me.
      I think my heart broke from my chest.. thumping ...with Hereditary. It defined my adoration.

      @CineStructure  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s amazing! I’m an architectural designer and scale model building has always been a passion of mine just as a result of building them in school…and I adore dollhouses!
      I totally get where you’re coming from. Some films do cgi well and some just don’t at all. It’s amazing how far it’s come in such short time.
      We did a video on “Hereditary” and discuss the use of the miniatures in that film as well. It’s such a cool parallel within the story.
